I am excited to announce the release of my latest project, "Sally's Song," from The Nightmare before Christmas! You can hear my version the song on SoundCloud and YouTube on July 1.I built the track and the artwork from the ground up, which I have never done for a cover project before. I spent seven days recording and mixing piano, harp, drums, bells, bass, organ, and vocals, including a 9-part choir. Once mixed, the song contained 34 tracks, 20 of which were vocals. I created the artwork, which is a Sally-centric take on the original Nightmare Revisited artwork, with a combination of vectors and freehand sketch as well as a screenshot from "Sally's Song" in the film.I feel like this is one of the best tracks I have ever released andI hope you enjoy listening to it it as much as I enjoyed creating it!
