   Two Shirleys: General Info
Member Since1/21/2006
Band Websiteyoutube.com/watch?v=8Ma1nz8DmBw
Band MembersKarl Fousek-A brighted eyed champion with a heart of gold, Karl is the Chief Arranger of all songs. He is also a co founder of Two Shirleys. (Which I guess would make him one of the Shirleys.) All songs run by this guy in the final cut. He pretty much takes care of the recording work and arranging. HE EATS PEOPLE!!!

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Zack Huie- Swarthy half asian with killer death moves and piano and drum skills to boot. Zack is the 2nd Shirley so to speak as he is the 2nd co founder of the project. Zack Also is the Chief organizer and talent scout. He also drums in the band "Stiff Riff." Go see them now. They dont play much but they are very nice people.

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Spencer Powell- Violin master and renowned funny man. Im pretty sure he has no soul (He plays a magic violin that collects lost souls.) He can play violin like a dream and his skin is so soft like gentle summer rain.

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Zach Cornfield- Not to be confused with Zack Huie, Cornfield is a crafty opponent and is not to be cross dressed as a chimp. Guitar playing fit for the gods flow so easily through this young mans veins that it gets all over my carpet. Zach is in the band "Stiff Riff."

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Marion Pollock- Marion is cello gal. I think she fights crime by night. During the day she comes and records once and leaves her stuff in the basement and never comes back to get it... Were still waiting.

Judy Chee- Oh Man Judy Chee? Shes so cool and spunky and always smiling and making others smile and shes kind and nice and funny. Ahhhhh. Oh but shes crazy and not to be trusted. Shell kill you in an instant with her insane F chord stylings. When she gets on the piano prepare to be dazzled.

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Bahiyyih - Sweet sweet Bahiyyih. Not only is she drop dead gorgeous but she can also braid armpit hair at a 6th grade level. An amazing vocalist she is not to be underestamated. If I had a lightsabre, Id give it to her and run away.

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Geordie Hart- Geordie Hart plays bass and guitar. He likes long walks on the beach and going to late night movies. Truly a student of the game Geordie shows us what it means to be a robot in times of testing.

Haig Morrison- Man this guy has the best hats Ive ever seen. Hes still kind of a mystery to me. Barritone sax is his weapon of choice. Once covered in the blood of his enemies he freaks out a bit and than lays down some sick tonal splendor. He is in a ska band called "The karmacanix." Check them out before it's to late!!!

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Ben Brown- Ive been trying to seduce this one for quite some time in hopes to steal his rythmic and guitar abilitys. So far my charms have failed thus far but hes ever so polite and plays in a great band called "Suzy". Check it out check him out and forever be in his pocket.

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Emile Scott - Little is known about this rough and tumble hero. He used to have a large birthmark on his neck but had it removed. Now he spends his days setting up shows for various bands. Get to know him. Hes a mystery man.

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Harold Donnelly- Harold is the bee knees mixed with a little bit of cat dander. Once a noble dancing queen of the south, Harold belts out the guitar and effects like he was born to the job. He is also in a sick band called "Orange Orange." Check em out and prepare for death.

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Billy Robinson- Billy is the dopest man alive. If you hate Billy I will find you and destroy you. In the band "Orange Orange," he rocks out on guitar and effects like a mexican chinchilla monkey in heat. As a member of two shirleys he rocks out just the same but after he's done he explodes.

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Jaron Freeman- This guy is a little too good at violin. It scares me. A powerful man in the black arts he can be your friend or your enemy depending on how you treat him. I find rubbing his belly works wonders.

Evan Arntzen- Evan is fast rising in the jazz world as one of the up and comers in the genre. He found some time to come and record some Sax, flute and clarinet with us and he quickly got bored. I think we scared him off with the whole "Can we remove your brain for the project thing."

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Joe Roback- Joe Roback! Joe Roback! Nicest guy youll ever meet. But out of all these musicians the one most likely to kill me. "Et Tu Roback?" He plays the bass like a calm whirlwind of emotion. Also he is a chess master who will do what ever it takes to win. Sigh What a guy. (Photo Courtesy of Angela Wong.)

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Jason Ryant- Jason is a seasoned peace of jerky with a mango persona. He used to be a pirate. Now he plays the bass like a baby and his baby like a bass. If you havent heard this you must. He is one of the many bass masters in the band "Stiff Riff." Don't mess with this guy. He's a crazy man when cornered.

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Emilio de la Cruz- The Prince of all that is evil, metal and salty. Emilio has a spiky demeanor and a bad bad attitude. Hes really friendly, but anger him and hell make fun of your shoes. He rocks the guitar and effects so hard that he gets all the ladies.

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Erron Sweeney- Erron is a robot sent to this planet to become the coolest bi-ped ever. With his crazy devices he brings guitar, vocals and crazy effects the like of which have never been fathomed by human ears. His orange hair is made candy. What a guy!

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Roya Ravanbakhsh- If you take one part super cool add some eloquent charm and wit with a sprinkle of crazy and maby a little bit of sugar you got Roya. Always awake even when sleeping, Roya sings angelous tones that would make even the saddest person smile. I suspect she might be a ninja.

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Anthony Ornato- Raised by wolves and schooled by manatees, this half italian half asian master will dance his way into your hearts and your colons. With Sax in hand he slays out the noise with merciless majesty. He also stalks grizzlys.

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Emma Preston- Godess of the cosmos and dance dance revolutionary, Emma Preston Presses on no matter what the cost. Full of spunk and small dwarves she takes cello to a whole new level of awesome. She spends most of her time studying and stealing the hearts of men (and somtimes women).

Sounds LikeThe whistling of wind in the hair of a newborn calf who got caught doing drugs at a small pub in Vernon where monkeys were once arrested in a state of panic when they threw themselves at loose women off a couch at such high speeds that the sun plummeted down into an endless love a new begining and a brighter future for our children with puppies and kittens brooding over how much cheese is on the nachos in the living room.

a truth called nothing

May 10 2008 3:13 PM

Greetings from lovely sweden! I, a member of the obscure duo "a truth called nothing", would like to take this opportunity to point out that I find your music, to use a turn of phrase employed by one of my more eccentric literature teachers, completely beautiful - neither 90% beautiful, nor even 99% beautiful, but completely beautiful.

Keep on doing what you do in the free world /samuel, atcn
