It's been about 10-months since I decided to leave the South Bay Run Team to pursue my first triathlon, an Ironman of all things, with Team in Training's one and only "Ironteam".
Some on my old teammates had asked if I would be filming the Ironteam as I did with the Run Team for so many seasons. My first thought was no, since I wouldn't have any time to train.
Well...you know it wouldn't be long before I'd get the itch to film again.
Here is a recent swim workout that I filmed at Stanford University of our team.
The style is a little different than what I have done before...but then again this isn't any ordinary team, this the "Ironteam".
To imagine that I couldn't swim 50 meters a few months ago and I now can swim over 4000 meters (in open-water), still blows my mind.

YAY for all of us who ran the San Diego Rock and Roll marathon! I am proud to say I am a finisher and so happy to be a part of such a great group! Congrats to everyone!!!
I completed my first full marathon on Sunday at San Diego RNR. I could not have done so without all of the TNT support along the way. My coach was fabulous...he ran me in on those last 2.2 miles when I was having a tough time. You all rock and I am so looking forward to Long Beach and then on to Nike! GO TEAM!!! I cannot wait until next year RNR here I come again!
San Diego was AWESOME!!! While I am already slated to mentor for Nike, this past season was my first as part of TNT. It was so inspirational to have TNT coaches, mentors, and support staff from every chapter line the race course cheering for me and my running partners. I can't wait to do the same for my mentees at Nike. Go Team!!!
