OTHER NEWS: Two Think of 3 songs, Freedom Blues and Somewhere, are featured on Serenity House Compilation CD to benefit a hospice in Doylestown, PA; some of the artists on the CD are Jethro Tull, Annie Haslam (from Rennaisance. Pat Dinizio (from the Smithereens), Kathy Slede of Sister Sledge, Bob Miles (host of Miles of Music on Comcast in Bucks County, PA), Steve Pullara (popular children's artist), Jann Klose (up and coming artist). The CD release party was on Thursday, September 6th at The Puck which was very successful; the gig was video taped and the DVD is to be released shortly.
BAND OBJECTIVE: With each member bringing different qualities to the project and a love for God the Father, The Son Jesus Christ and The Holy Spirit (i.e., Think of 3), their strongest desire is to create great songs / music and preach the Good News via the message of the songs that they've been given to touch and minister to the lives of those who hear them.
Musician Biography - Since beginning on the saxophone and singing in the fourth grade choir at school, James has mastered many instruments including the guitar, synthesizer, and bass. Early forays in music included Christian Pop / Rock, Punk, and Heavy Metal. During this time James developed his unique vocal style which, having been honed to professional quality in the early 90's, became a focal point of the melodic hard rock group, DeFault.
James' talent and leadership navigated DeFault through an extensive performance and recording schedule which culminated in generous amounts of radio airplay, both in domestic and international markets, as well as producer and label interest. Despite their success, however, DeFault disbanded after a two years, due to creative differences.
Rather than allowing the demise of DeFault to hinder him, James rebounded with The Morning After, an 11 minute, three-song concept EP about the end of the world; it too was met with unanimously good reviews and radio airplay both domesticly and internationally and has propelled him futher forward in what is becoming a successful indie music career. On the heels of that successful EP, the legacy of Think of 3 began.... though many have passed through its doors, James and the vision of Think of 3 continues until present day.
James' music has been broadcast on the following stations:
...various songs from the DeFault ep 1991 and The Morning After ep 1993; Metal Radio Corner - Spanga, Sweden; Musical Suicide - Rethymno, Greece; 107.4 Slam Hour - Liega, Belgium; Overground Radio, 73.2 - Warsaw, Poland;WZZO - Bethlehem, PA; WRDV Warminster, PA; WBYO Quakertown, PA; WGBB - Long Island, NY; WEFT - Champaign, IL; WMSS Middletown, PA (plus, on-air interview for The Morning After);
...variuos songs from Think of 3's - Dawn of A New Day 2001;
KKUP, CA trk ..2 "Questions"; WORDFM, PA 88.9 trks 2,5, 7; Silent Planet Radio, Wilkes-Barre trks 2, 11 & 13 + on-air interview Thinking Man Studios Compilation CD - Looking to the Future as well as the Past.
... the song, Dawn of A New Day was also featured on two compilation cds; Paday Compilation CD and WSVN Radio Hall of Fame III Compilation CD. And most recently their songs, Freedom Blues and Somewhere, have been featured / included on the Serenity House CD benefit compilation.
TV - two videos have been aired on Positive Rock, MD; Native Son and Know Me! plus, two songs from the new Thinking Man Studios Compilation CD have been used / placed on a Comcast Cable pilot show, Rip Roarin' Lacross, as theme songs
