| About The Spirit Girls |

Members of the Spirit Girls have been involved in many musical recordings, and many have been key in helping to
shape the development of art rock music in Los Angeles. Marnie Weber has released three solo records domestic
and European as well as several with the seminal art rock band The Party Boys. Dani Tull has had two releases with
the band Polar Bear, which featured musicians from Janes Addiction and Ethyl Meatplow. Tanya Haden has
performed and recorded with The Haden Triplets, The Silversun Pickups, and Petra Hadens The Who Sell Out.
Debbie Spinelli played drums for Rad Waste and 17 Pygmies. Tamara Sussman played and recorded with Bertha
Mason in Buffalo, NY. Collectively, The Spirit Girls combine their own peculiar influences to produce an album that is
haunting, surreal and beautifully hopeful. The Spirit Girls journey by airstream trailer through a time and world that is
unlike one we have known. Drownings, tragic storms, and wicked hobo clowns are juxtaposed with soft lambs,
comforting bears and happy pigs who help the girls find spiritual enlightenment.Their story culminates in a bizarre
small town fair where they perform their music in a traditional tent revival. There, they find their voice, raise the spirits
of the dead and gain their ultimate emancipation.
