The Codes, young and dynamic, burst onto the Leicester music scene showcasing their raw talent and song writing ability, playing an exciting fusion of Indie and Rock influenced by bands old and new alike.
The Codes began in 2007, writing, recording and making a few small releases to establish a fanbase. Since then the band has focused on gigging, and following a few line-up changes they have found stability and local success, releasing a single on iTunes titled 'I Can't Dance' in April 2008, and being crowned runners up in the Original Bands Showcase 2008, which gave them a slot at the Summer Sundae festival.
Whilst The Codes enjoy writing and rehearsing they are at their best when performing live. The band are a tight unit both on stage and off.

HI CODES like i say to the rest of the leicester bands sorry i havent been to any of your gigs because of all the bands haveing new ep and being on tv and radio it hard for me to keep up and with my life being busy rite now anit had the time the sheep song funny and groovy and i cant dance is going be a big sell lad keep it up u never no ya may get sign anyways i have go bye for now
