General
Music	I'm now currently rediscovering my old Ministry albums and checking out that industrial band's various side projects. If you like Ministry and hardcore industrial then check out Revolting Cocks (one of Ministry's side projects). Grandpa Al can't be wrong.
Movies	Most movies suck. I am a fan of David Mamet, Robert Altman, P.T.Anderson, Andrew Niccol, Abel Ferrara, Martin Scorsese, Paddy Chayefsky, and Sidney Lumet (for starters). The golden age of cinema was in the '70s. What a vital cinematic decade that was!
Television	I only watch MythBusters and Penn and Teller's BULLSHIT! Outside of that, television will rot your brain. Read a book! Read several!
Books	I read mainly non-fiction and very controversial works for I like to learn about the world around me. My favorite books would happen to both be dictionaries for even I can get lost for words now and then (I have a huge copy of the Good Book of Merriam Webster and an old Win16-era electronic copy of The American Heritage). After all, without words there would be no books (well, without wood pulp there would be no books...but I get ahead of myself as I realize that most print is dead).
Heroes	Anyone is a hero when they fight evil. Capitulation is for cowards. Know your enemy! To paraphrase Sun Tsu it helps to have your enemy defeat itself.
