Yep, Harajuku's pretty wild--bet you felt exhilarated, amazed, and crowded all the same time! It constantly changes, too (except for all those crepe shops). Aloha and sunny skies!
Hi Taimane! A pleasure to be added--it's wonderful how you've made a home for your influences within your own musical creations. Sounds wonderful! That creativity puts you amongst my own musical favorites along with other innovators like Zeppelin, Beck, Pink Floyd, Cream, and Tom Waits! By the way, did you run into Petty Booka when you were in Japan? Mahalo and best wishes!!
i went to your new pictures...thumbed thru them...commented on my favorte...then looked and noticed that the picture i like the best was your new cover picture. (can i pick 'em or WHAT !?! :-)
hey Taimane, im a new ukulele player, im not good im still learning how to play, ive been learning for about 2 months. i just wanted to say that i really like how you play, ive never seen ne1 play like that before =) your the best!
Listening to "Moloka'i Slide" brightened up a rainy day in England. Great song, now if you could just replace the sax part with a lap-steel, (or High-why-en guitar, as we call 'em over here, over there in Hawaii I guess you just call 'em guitars...) that would be brilliant.
hey tai. love the new song. hit me up sometime. we gotta hang sumtime when you're not busy. hope you're all good. you seem to be doing really really well. : ) take care - Landon -
*pinches himself* OUCH! no, I'm not dreaming, you DO exsist... I found you by searching for 'Taimane' sometimes myspace is just wierd. oh and btw i love your music but i hate your talent (I'm jealous like that)
hey Taimane. just anted to show some love to you and say how much i like your music. a beautiful girl that makes beautiful music. you're awesome. much love & aloha ~ Jay
kinda takes the fun out of making an album if you can't sell them. it sounds like you have a better grasp on the industry than i ever will. hopefully it all works out, and i'll be buying one of the first ones here. yeah thirty seconds isn't enough... but i'll be seeing you this weekend and that is more than good enough for me.
bummer. i hope you get it figured out soon. is it a distribution issue or legal red tape?? i heard some of it on the japanese site, and it's really good. but thirty second clips don't exactly do your music justice. her name is paka... ;)
