Hey everyone, we apologise that ETR has been pretty quiet over the past few weeks but believe us, we've been working hard. We've got a bunch of new shirts almost finished and we're so excited about them. You saw an early design of 'The Human Shirt' on our latest website update but you've no idea what our 'Romero' shirt is going to be like -we're keeping this one under wraps, we're convinced it's going to be our best yet!

We're both taking a break on Friday July 11 and heading out to Bulgaria for a couple of weeks to party and recharge (does that work?), so don't think we're ignoring you if you get in touch -we'll pick up all the messages/comments as soon as we're back, make a pan full of coffee and get to work replying to you all.

Yo yo yo. Another update to feast your sweet teeth on. The one below literally scratched the surface of what we've got to come, so hold onto your hats and go grab a beer and a sausage, no wait, damn! Sausage it is, years of animal welfare down the pan.

The new shirts will be here soon and they look unbelievably cool. We've also ordered a bunch more girls tanks ready for Summer so all the beautiful dames can look absolutely banging through June, July and August (aswell as the girls who've been rocking them through Winter -we salute you).

Our friends FAILSAFE have been doing some ultra-tweaks on their new album which STILL isn't out. Check them out when you can. In other music news we've got a bunch more bands on EATTHERICH now, all of whom will be revealed next month when we get time to write features. One of our all time favourites, M83 have released their (or his -Anthony Gonzalez) new love letter to 80's synth and pop in the shape of Saturdays = Youth, and it's good. We'll get him in an ETR shirt soon enough.

What else? Oh yeah, the ongoing crisis in Darfur shouldn't be mentioned lightly so we'll keep this short, as it deserves more than just a fleeting mention; we're going to be doing a little awareness raising over the next few months in order to get people up to speed with the debauchery that is happening every day in the Sudanese region. without being a bunch of dicks about it, we're currently looking into causes which our next line of shirts will contribute to (every time someone buys a shirt we will give money to 'X' charity) and many of those which are knee deep in helping, or at least aiding, the Darfur crisis rate highly in our book. We'll keep you up to date.

In completely seperate and more light-hearted news, a dog's head got stuck in a plant pot recently and it featured on the news. We absolutely love dogs so felt so terrible for the little guy, but it's pretty funny that he just slapped his little head into and empty plant pot, considering most these days are plastic moulds which crack if you look at them for long enough. Anyway, that's gardening...

Hey everyone! We know, we know, it's been a while since we updated the page and for that we're sorry. It's been so busy over here, we can't say that enough right now.

Anyway, firstly we need to be totally honest -we said there'd be new shirts out this month but we've had to halt production for a number of reasons so they're gonna be another few weeks yet. That really sucks we know, but with that said let's move onto the good news; the competition winners! We've been working hard to put up a new page in order to celebrate the winners of our first 008 Vegetarian Contest and you can check it out by clicking here or just following the link above.

We had such a good response to the online comp that we've decided to make a whole website just for it! Some people would call us crazy, others would shake our hands and buy us a drink (Blue WKD please). It is pretty wild but we were so impressed with the sheer volume of banging entrants that we had to show them to the rest of the world. Yeah, so PETA2 does a leaf-eaters contest but that's different. We're firmly rooted in the streets and we literally love talking to people about everything brilliant, plus PETA2 t-shirts ain't got nothing on EATTHERICH. They are pretty cool, thinking about it though.

What a wild week. As you've probably noticed there's a couple of new things on here and as the weekend unfolds expect a couple of little surprises too.

The shirts have been flying off the shelves recently and it's absolutely amazing how much support we're getting. So first off as usual we want to thank everyone around the world for making us feel so good about EATTHERICH.

The online seach for myspace's most inspiring vegetarians is almost over now and it's actually really hard to pick a couple of people out of the hundreds of emails we've received. We might as well apologise now for those who don't get shirts (we can't send out that many! Can we? Darryl says no, damn), but we also want you to know that your messages have all been really inspiring and uplifting, and every day has been made special by them. So watch this page for updates on the two people we choose to showcase and celebrate and make famous through our wonderful site (note: fame isn't guaranteed, but instant cool is with our MEATSUCKS shirt).

We've been working closely with our friends over at FAILSAFE whilst they recorded their new album entitled 'The truth is...'. The boys are keeping it pretty much under wraps (although we hear it's finished) for now but just wait it out, we promise it's worth it. How do we know? Because they sent us two exclusive tracks which we used on our new video, and you can see it here.

Maybe this is getting ahead of ourselves, but we figured you'd like to know that we're cooking up another competition, which for now is staying shrouded in mystery. What we will tell you is that one of you will soon be receiving more free stuff for doing very little (involving our new stickers and some sneaky photography). Oh no, we've already said too much! More on that next month, but it's gonna be a LOT of fun.

Another exciting slice of e-news is that we're currently working on a new shirt and it's looking pretty rad already. We're expecting to have it in our store by early next month so we'll keep you updated on that as it develops. We're also finishing up a couple of designs which are being made into stickers to give you guys for all of the support we're receiving (did we mention you're all pretty amazing).

Seriously, I love dogs so much. Alright everyone, wow this page is getting hard to manage with the messages and that, but don't think we're not grateful -it's awesome to have such positivity squashed into one little inbox. Our comments have slowed of recent but it doesn't worry us. What does worry us is that we've run out of a bunch of designs and sizes and we're waiting for new stock to arrive, so if you're going to order in the next couple of days then please be patient as we're re-stocking as fast as possible. To all of those who have been hammering our store; we love you and hope you received your shirts with the love and care we stuffed into them prior to shipping out.

So what's cooking? Oh yeah the online vegetarian search is almost over! Man it's been tough as we had no idea how many wonderful vegetarians were sneaking around on myspace. To be honest it's been a little harder than we expected; some of the messages and designs/photos we've been sent are so passionate, some are just downright funny -which we love of course. There's 10 days left on the contest so if you think you've got what it takes to become an EATTHERICH rep and be showcased on our webpage then go ahead mail us a reason why you don't eat horses neck, giraffes beard and monkeys tail. Wow, this is the first myspace update of 008. We'be been so busy sending out packages, things have just blown up! I mean, we were pretty happy anyway with the support, then suddenly we've got an army behind us! Firstly I've gotta thank all of the people that won't stop commenting this page and our website, you guys are f**king awesome! The response just gets better and better and everyone we talk to just blows our mind with such passion and love for all humans and animals. It's kind of overwhelming in a way; we just want to make clothes that don't hurt anybody and fight for those that can't necessarily fight for themselves, and everytime I read a new comment or message from you guys it just makes me want to go out there and rip the fur coats off every person wearing them around me (the thing is, if I did do that I'm pretty sure I'd be caught within the first few takedowns, seeing as though I'd look like a weird skinny lion running through the city!). Either way what I wanted to say was simply this; every time you message D & I, we feel so proud of the world and for all of the lovely people in it that actually care. Thanks for being so amazing, and never stop being yourself (unless you're a fly, in which case stop getting in my mouth when I'm riding my bike. I keep trying to spit you out without hurting you but it's so hard and I don't like riding without my mouth completely shut)... Oh, you're still reading? Thanks everyone, you're our lifeforce.

All will be made clear in the new year when we start the biggest ever online search for beautiful units (yeah yeah it's only skin deep we know, but hotties are top of the list, haha only joking). [23.12.07] - By Craig

Hey you lot. So first off thanks for the great response to our new MYSPACE page, and for those that got their orders in before friday you should be seeing christmas in with a hot new shirt. Darryl and I have some really big ideas for next year, so I think we're just gonna ride it out this year with a few little updates -nothing too crazy. I just finished cutting the video of the photoshoot which I'll get uploaded asap; we had such a good day taking photos with our friend John a couple of weeks ago, it just figured to cover it with the camera and put something up here. I might have throughly misunderstood our social stature but from what I can gather people are quite into seeing what goes on behind the scenes (albeit darryl and I messing about mostly), and so I figured you might like to see what went on whilst we were photographing the winter line of shirts. Sally & Jo did an amazing job too, get them checked out on the pics page.

So it's nearly christmas too. We're afraid the winter hoodies have been held up in Europe and as a result we've somehow received five girls hoodies, haha, just five. The thing is, we want to get them on the shop but they'll shift so quick it doesn't seem fair until everyone has an equal chance of getting one, so we're gonna wait. They come in black with the gun-metal MEATSUCKS print and in sizes small and medium (and probably zip and pullover). We've been trying to work out which is better; I mean, I always like girls in pullover hoods and guys seem to look better in zips, am I right or is this the beginning of a sexist regime? Write us a message and let us know. So yeah anyway, they'll be available in the new year and will cost £25 with £2 postage. I promise they're some of the warmest garments you'll own this side of the year 2050.

What else is there? Oh yeah did any of you manage to catch EARTHLINGS? All I have to say is wow, or more accurately, whoa. I caught it a while ago and it blew my hat into last month. For those that don't know what I'm talking about then follow the link and watch/support the movie. A word of warning to those of weak disposition, it's pretty graphic (no more so than the movie HOSTEL, for example), however the most hard-hitting part is that it's rooted in reality and that what you're seeing is going on all over the world. Well I don't wanna say too much as it's not my job, you could just head over there when you get a minute and check it out.

A quick thing I wanted to mention is the good feedback we've had over our pro-vegetarianism standpoint. It's so good to know that people are into it and don't think of us as draconian and oppressive, we're just trying to stop animals getting such a raw deal -and if that means ramming an asparagus spear down your throat then open up pal, and get ready for the tip... only kidding. Anyway this is going nowhere, thanks to everyone for reading and check back soon for loads of backgrounds and stuff for your computer.
