Blake William - almost everything.
Live ensemble is still fluctuating. Andrew's usually in it. I need a steady on-call drummer instead of having to call a bunch of people before every show, psh.
Influences
Robert Fripp, Brian Eno, Tarentel, Earth, Sonic Youth, Codeine, Mono, Slayer, Anaal Nathrakh, David Bowie, Shakti, Slowdive, Talk Talk, Syd Barrett, Jeff Minter.
Sounds Like
I'd say its as musical as it is uncooperative, Superzapper Recharge deals with tape loop experiments and pillars of self harmonized guitar tones, slowly building up into a dreamscape and crashing down into a distorted nightmare.
Or at least that's what I tell bookers in emails. However, this recent comment was too good not to quote:
"Your songs are quite entrancing, by the way, and looooooooooooooooooong."
-Timothy O'Donnell of Static Station Records.
Well um, I was asked to play Audio Waffle so I bought 2 tape machines and pulled this project out of my ass. Most of the recordings and live performances are ambient guitar music played with the reel to reel feedback loop. Sometimes I just don't feel like doing that, so this project serves as "Blake's fuck off improv band" where I lead some guest musicians. Its usually either mindblowing amazing or just downright awful. Come to a show sometime and keep your fingers crossed!
Also, I need a break, I'm not booking until August.

I actually just drank a Lagunitas Lumpy Gravy the other day. Very nice. I guess I should have stated that we consider Lagunitas Censored (Kronik) ale the official beer of The Reptilians.
You're right. I need to rephrase that section. Some of my favorite beer is American! Stone Brewing Co. is probably my favorite brewery of all time to be honest.
