Spirit Medicine Project is the side project of exUSSR (Ukraine) darkwave electronic duo..s InHead Project, MINDZERO.
Spirit Medicine Project was formed in 2006 year as experimental psychedelic trance / ambient band. Music of based on meditative, calm and strong electronic sounds, complicated melodic structures and some folk acoustic elements (like violins, percussion).
Spirit Medicine Promo was created in the 1996, as the part of the rave subculture, which was active at that time. In the period of 96-99 was organised first psychedelic trance parties in the Western Ukraine. At that time Albert "Alexxdrum" worked at creation of different kinds of electronic music using some old trackers (Fast tracker, Impulse Tracker ...) and analog synthesizers, and Maria was the active participant of psychedelic post-rock projects, and also realised different art-projects.
Since year 2000 till now members of Spirit Medicine Project are making different post-industrial electronic music (ambient, ebm, synth-goth) in collaborations with musicians from Ukraine and Poland (Kundalini Rec.), and in their own side-projects (Mindzero, Engine Of Reality, InHead Project). Also they perform live acts. Now there are plans to create conceptual experimental psychedelic trance music as the "Spirit Medicine Project", experiment on integration of diffirent stylistic and conceptual inspirations.
