So friggin annoying- we offered Jason a place to hold a benefit to raise moolah for lisences..etc.. AGES ago but, he just doesn't reply.. even when you know he's read the msg..!?

Hmmmm, I think we'll op shop and just get older clothing and rough it up, bury it in the ground for a week so it smells musty or something. I have a few costumes here but would rather blend in then stand out. Last year there were so many school kids, brides and workers i want to avoid those. Not too mention the attention seeking freaks we'd rather just avoid all together!
Jason needs a kick up the butt. Last year he had heaps of people begging to help him out and he said he'd take them up on it for this year. I really don't think he's that interested in it and it's a shame cause so many talented people are!

I messaged Zaen again about getting together before the zombie walk but still haven't heard back. Has Jason replied to you yet? I found this wicked place for horror props but they won't post to Australia :( hmmm, not long to go now though so i had better move it.

house parties! oh theyre the best, Im going to a uniform party next week, no idea what to wear. Sailor and Cop are taken and Im not particularly looking to kit up as a 'schoolgirl' since I'm small enough to actually get confused for one haha. Any ideas? Yeah went to the ed with my friends as one of them is gay, went a couple of times, haha thats heaps funny my friend made out with a dude and I was like "how did you manage to find the one straight guy in this place?", it was pretty odd haha. Yeah the house party next week is the first one Ive been to for a good couple of months.
ive heard he's a great bloke a really weird friend of mine did work experience there and apparently he's lovely. Pretty sure I have kukula on myspace, if its the same person im thinking of which is either of two people who draws girls, but one draws on wood and the other is canvas. I am such a spring girl, i hate going out when its hot, pretty much passed out from the heat in shotz once earlier this year and this was BEFORE I hit the bar haha. I had the same reaction when I saw a photo of one of rydens exhibitions, I had no idea! have you seen the photo of him in his studio with stuffed crows and skeletons and whatnot everywhere? Hes a good egg that one. Oh and have you been to the Ed now that its not a gay bar? apparently it is the new hotspot even though it is massively isolated
Haha oh shotz, it is like a dear little dress that you've grown out of but you throw on everytime you think you might just fit into it, then you realise that unfortunately you have grown out of it and you should never attempt to try it on again as it embarasses all involved. Yeah shotz is only good for requesting songs and not getting hassled by metros but now they're there too so nowhere is sanctuary. GOD THE SCENE KIDZ11!11 fuck they're half my age double my height and twice the skanky all wrapped up in one screeching crazy-ass package. I work in the city and walking down rundle mall near them does my head in. Nigz is fun except for all the crazy posers with shit to prove, I go there but usually get dragged out by the friends that dont agree with the place but I usually have a pretty good time there, I knwo the Revenge DJ so Ill probably visit the place at some stage in the near future. Supermild is exactly that, super and mild, I love their apple crumbles and their unfortunately named rimshots hahaha..thats the good shit :). Im waiting until its warmer to go out more since I dont have any pairs of jeans that I would even consider wearing to town. I knew you'd know Ryden, hes fantastic hey, found him through that band scarling that featured glover as well. Waaay into art and I'd be doing it if it werent for my course, its my main passion hey, love the work you do, do you have any other huge influences? I love this comic called 'the enigma of amigara fault'..some weird ass story by a artist who draws both the most amazing and the most awful stuff up, sort of horror scifi suspense stuff. Pretty sure moviemaniacs was where I got the painting, rad place.
Yeah adelaide way too small, but hey new crowds are filling places, went to *shudder* shotz the toher day and it was FILLED with people I didnt know, like a metro wave had spilt in. Usually I know everyone through one degree of seperation which can be good and bad ey :P. Wow he was good in Charlies ey, Im pretty sure i still have in on VHS for some reason. Yeah all my friends are engaged/renting/working so only been going out every now and again. What sorts of places do you hit up? I usually hit shotz nigz then supermild or cranker though as I said its pretty sporadically lately. We were going to go this weekend but everyone spent their hard earned money at Peter Coombe last week haha. OOOh and just to be random, a while ago I went to Comicchaos or something along those lines and I bought my ex a huge painting of Alien versus some dude off starwars and it looks heaps like your kind of art. Wondered if on the off chance it was one of yours since he said the artist was adelaide based?
