"I've always loved David Mercado's playing. That being said, his new song "Brooklyn 1978", shows some real maturity and a guitarist who is really defining his own style. Shades of Satriani meets Coltrane played with an edgy New York attitude are what I'm hearing in this new song. A deep groove underneath balance the honest musicianship on top! 1978 was a great year to be in Brooklyn. Now we have a soundtrack."
