Real down home ol' school R & B with a rockin cool edge. Class blues @ it's best! Order you copy of The Mighty HouseRockers Live @ The Eagles. By Mail, $20.00 includes shipping and handling. Payable to Robert Romano by check only or available at shows by cash for only $15.00 very soon. This was the opening set for The James Montgomery show on Jan. 1, 2007...the birth of The Mighty HouseRockers!!
After playing blues out live with The New Blue Revue
since 1995, Harmonica player, Bob ’Satch’ Romano from Braintree
and his lead guitar and co-frontman ’Slick’ Jim Murray from Weymouth
met @ Satch’s Blues jam back when it was held @ Helen’s Cafe’ in Braintree.
After jamming together
many times, they decided to separate New Blue Revue Jam shows with their
own set lineup.
The HouseRockers were formed in the Winter of 2001 and consist of Satch
on harp (Infuenced by Sonny Boy, Junior Wells, Brownie McGhee, Charlie
Musselwhite and Magic Dick), rhythm guitar and vocals. ’Slick’ Jim
Murray kicks the lead blues guitar and sings like a man of a different
color. Close your eyes and you’ll imagine hearing an old time delta blues
man like Howlin’ Wolf, Elmore James, Buddy Guy. ’Uptown’ Clay Brown
does double duty on sax and guitar as well as some fine lead vocals
and Bruce "The Goose" McGrath and Mark ’The Shark"
Seibel add a real big soulful/jazz edge. Tim Foxx drives the rhythm with the five& 6 string down-low bass. Drums are handled by
Dave ’Bake’ Baker.
The HouseRockers offer
up a night of raucious shakin’ Blues, Classic Rock ’n Roll and R &
B with a whole lotta soul! Venues played include The Purple Eggplant Cafe’, Mt. Blue, Bad Abbotts, Main Street Bar & Grille, The House of Blues, The
Sea Note, The Cantab and participated in the finals in the 2001 Boston
Blues Challenge @ Harper’s Ferry. We are regulars @ The Next Page Blues Cafe’, Fat Boy Bills, Milford and Frankie D’s In Kingston and are available for your private function, party or special
events.
Please come out an
enjoy a great Rockin’ R & B dance party with The Mighty HouseRockers! Maximum R & B Gar-on-teed!!
Thank you all for listening, dancing and loving the Blues!

Hey Satch! It was great having a beer with you last night! Keep the ball rollin' downhill baby! It's a hell of a lot better than trying to push it back up!
