A flight of stairs falling down a flight of stairs, only a little more mournful.
Conceived in 1999 as a part-time instrumental rock experiment by Chicago multi-instrumentalist Rob Warmowski, the SA Fault has evolved into a four-piece rock band featuring sardonic D. Boon-esque lyrics, odd and organic electric guitars and a rhythm section as reliable as morning and as alarming as Donald Rumsfeld. The Fault released their debut record in 2003 "Encantada" which found play on numerous popular television shows nobody admits to watching, including a show featuring the famously-encrusted Cameron Diaz. Rob's work is not limited to popular TV shows; he also co-wrote and recorded the theme to the "Upright Citizen's Brigade" on Comedy Central. Rob has shared the stage with the Flaming Lips, Fugazi, The Circle Jerks, Link Wray, Dick Dale, Naked Raygun, Bad Religion, Quicksand, Pegboy, Rifle Sport, The Dead Milkmen and dozens of other groups in his twenty-year career"in music, beginning as a highschooler by founding the Chicago hardcore punk / surf band The Defoliants in 1985. He has worked as a composer, sound engineer, producer and art director, spending three years with venerable Chicago label Perishable. He has been honored for his record cover design by inclusion in the National Design Museum. He remains interested in your earhole. To that end he is working on new songs and will soon complete a new 7" with enhanced conceptual packaging. And he is tired of referring to himself in the third person and will now stop.
