Influences
70s and 80s punk (like bad brains, sex pistols, husker du, adolescents, descendents, doughboys, dag nasty, zero boys, shudder to think, minor threat) mixed with 80s and early 90s indie (like my bloody valentine, guided by voices, sonic youth, dinosaur jr., built to spill) intertwined with 60s pop (like the beatles, zombies, animals, motown) all combined with our great contemporary bands (jawbreaker and green day for example). We have never fit in with what is going on though...and never will...shit!
Sounds Like
dinosaur jr, alkaline trio, green day, built to spill, jawbreaker, jets to brazil, pavement, snuff, blah, blah...

throughout the 90s, this band rocked out album after album and tour after tour. In 2000, they released their 6th full-length album, Astray, and did several tours of America and then Canada before abruptly calling it quits. But in the years to come, they got so many tour offers that when they turned down 90% of them, they still managed to tour Europe 3 times and then South America...so they were basically in this 'weird-hiatus-like' state.
the band regrouped in fall 2005 and on september 26th will be releasing our 7th album, 'whatever's got you down.' 12 songs we put alot of love and work into, hope you like it. we also hope to see you on tour then, please keep an eye out for tour dates, because we will be going everywhere.
for a real detailed, tedious history of the band's activities (for example: as ridiculous as it sounds: Green Day, No Doubt, Offspring and Blink 182 all opened for Samiam!) please go here: www.gosamgo.com or www.samiam.de

I have been a huge fan since 1994 and I have never seen you guys live. Me and many others have tried to book you guys to play a show in or around the area of Indianapolis(that's how big of fans we are), and it STILL has not happened.
Make it happen! Please come play a show in Indianapolis!
I know it sounds cheesy or whatever, but seriously, it would be a dream come true for me and a lot of people in this area. Please make this happen!
When was your last show in Indiana, 1994? A lot of us were too young to get in. Hell, I know some of us even stood outside and tried to watch the show through the window.hahaha
