royb0t could be a man with a laptop, loops of fruitiness, some synths and a short attention span who takes some doses of gnosis and cuddles with noisebear (a lo-fi 8bit merzbow in teddy bear form). or royb0t is a machine sent from the future to annihilate music. those who know have not survived long enough to tell the world for sure.
Influences
androids, cyborgs, automatons, drones, service droids, the bionically inclined and cows.
royb0t is a machine from the future sent to destroy humanity through the medium of electronic music. he also enjoys collecting spirally seashells and harassing drum machines.
should you wish to book royb0t for some sort of live aural performance/spiritual awakening, use the send message button or email nick.liberatoreATgmailDOTcom. there are no guarantees that you will survive such an event, but it will be orgasmic in one way or another.
Yea I had no luck with the VST's or making lo-fi sounds in reason, so just went to the actual thing. Its only like 50 bucks haha. Sadly I use my gameboy now more than my korg and computer/midi keyboard combined.
Ah, I've been thinking about getting into sampled stuff and all that [breakbeats] but every attempt has failed miserably haha. Hell I probably said all of that wrong, its not really my forte lol. But um yea RRKC is actually made completely with LSDJ, I just plugged it into an interface, pressed play and shabang. It's a pretty awesome program but sometimes my complex patterns make my gameboy crawl haha.
Great chop shop job on the nails track. I love working with 24/96 samples! Only if I had the loot to buy tons of quality equipment. My single, "Enough," is coming together nicely. I'd like your opinion on some of that when I post the rough demo in a week or less.
I look forward to our future collaborations. I'm working on a 'special' project that might require fusing with advanced nano-technology that only YOU possess. The dark dawn has now been predicted. We must let the masses have a glimpse of the leap that will be made...
