As the son of the popular 40's vaudeville dance team billed as "The Borden's: The Nutmost in Dancing", Ross Borden's gifts for acting, singing and comedy come as naturally as "The Sun Shining Over Broadway".

Starting a family at only age 18, Ross entered into the profession of Dentistry, which he continued until the mid 80's. Adding to his varied accomplishments, he also sang stints in Las Vegas, Tahoe, Reno and Seattle, appearing with such luninaries as WAYNE NEWTON, LIBERACE, DON RICKLES and LOUIS PRIMA. Ross was the featured act on the S.S. Catalina for three summer seasons.
Award-winning record producer DAVID FOSTER says of Ross Borden's singing talent and his latest CD, Here's To Life and Love...."This is one of the best independently produced CD's I've ever heard. My wife & I have it in our car. It is one of the CD's we listen to all the time!"
Later, the early 1980's brought Ross a lucrative television career, settling him on the West Coast. His incredible acting range, from comedy to drama, landed him leading roles in many top-rated programs including, "Falcon Crest", "General Hospital", The Youngt and the Restless", "Jake and the Fatman", "Hawaii 5-0", "Simon and Simon", the consistently Emmy-winning "Soap", and many others. Ross has also starred in "High Tide", "Mike Hammer, Private Eye" and "Sliders". His highly praised film roles include "Dutch", and various comedy shows such as "Night Stand" and "Son of the Beach".
Today, he enjoys travelling throughout the country entertaining for large corporate parties, conventions, prestigious condominium complex openings, hotels and nightclubs. He pleases large audiences as well as the small, cozy feel of a lounge or small nightclub. A man is dining in a fancy restaurant and there is a gorgeous redhead sitting at the next table. He has been checking her out since he sat down, but lacks the nerve to talk with her.
Suddenly she sneezes, and her glass eye comes flying out of its socket toward the man.
He reflexively reaches out, grabs it out of the air, and hands it back.
"Oh my, I am so sorry, " the woman says as she pops her eye back in place.
"Let me buy your dinner to make it up to you," she says.
They enjoy a wonderful dinner together, and afterwards they go to the theatre followed by drinks. They talk, they laugh, she shares her deepest dreams and he shares his. She listens.
After paying for everything, she asks him if he would like to come to her place for a night-cap and stay for breakfast.
They had a wonderful, wonderful time.
The next morning, she cooks a gourmet meal with all the trimmings. The guy is amazed. Everything had been SO incredible!
"You know, "he said, "you are the perfect woman. Are you this nice to every guy you meet? "
Thanks for the add. We appreciate your support. Keep checking back for more music, updated tour dates, and watch for the new website, coming soon. Thanks again. YOU ROCK!
Hey Ross, i thought you might like this:
Very funny facts!
If you yelled for 8 years, 7 months and 6 days you would have produced enough sound energy to heat one cup of coffee.
(Hardly seems worth it.)
If you farted consistently for 6 years and 9 months, enough gas is produced to create the energy of an atomic bomb.
(Now that's more like it!)
The human heart creates enough pressure when it pumps out to the body to squirt blood 30 feet.
(O.M.G.!)
A pig's orgasm lasts 30 minutes.
(In my next life, I want to be a pig.)
A cockroach will live nine days without its head before it starves to death. (Creepy)
(I'M STILL NOT OVER THE PIG!!!!)
Banging your head against a wall uses 150 calories a hour
(Don't try this at home, maybe at work)
The male praying mantis cannot copulate while its head is attached to its body. The female initiates sex by ripping the male's head off.
("Honey, I'm home. What the...?!")
The flea can jump 350 times its body length. It's like a human jumping the length of a football field.
(30 minutes..lucky pig! Can you imagine?)
The catfish has over 27,000 taste buds.
(What could be so tasty on the bottom of a pond?)
Some lions mate over 50 times a day.
(I still want to be a pig in my next life...quality over quantity)
Butterflies taste with their feet.
(Something I always wanted to know.)
The strongest muscle in the body is the tongue.
(Hmmmmmm......)
Right-handed people live, on average, nine years longer than left-handed people.
(If you're ambidextrous, do you split the difference?)
Elephants are the only animals that cannot jump.
(okay, so that would be a good thing)
A cat's urine glows under a black light.
(I wonder who was paid to figure that out?)
An ostrich's eye is bigger than its brain.
(I know some people like that.)
Starfish have no brains
(I know some people like that too.)
Polar bears are left-handed.
(If they switch, they'll live a lot longer)
Humans and dolphins are the only species that have sex for pleasure.
(What about that pig??)
Now that you've smiled at least once, it's your turn to spread these crazy facts and send this to someone you want to bring a smile to, maybe even a chuckle.
Greetings. Hope you've been well! I wanted to let you know that oe of my tunes was featured on the allaboutjazz.com daily download at the end of May. The track is currently number 4 for the last 90 day. I'd love to get it up to number one. If you could download the Hi-Quality version of the opening track, "Something Happens To Me" FOR FREE from allaboutjazz.com it would help me climb the ranks.
I hope you'll check out the rest of my debut recording, "You're Nearer: Love Songs of the 30s and 40s" on iTunes OR CDBaby.com
If you tell your friends and family, it will have a great chance of getting there. The catch is, 90 days is up on August 25th. Join the 1700 plus people who have already picked it up.
Hey Ross, thanks for the add! You sound great, nice pipes. I love sub-toning the tenor behind a tremendous vocalist like you. Can't wait to hear more of your work.
