DIABLO ROJO ADDED TO VH1
Rod and Gab recently rerecorded Diablo Rojo with John Leckie and used the new version for a video. The Video is on rotation during May on VH1 in the US.
The band's debut US release was heralded by Billboard Magazine as "One of the best guitar albums in ages; one of the best discs of the year". Their music has received national radio airplay, critical acclaim, and national press attention. The group has performed on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and The Late Show with David Letterman. The band has major US touring planned for the months ahead, a full list of dates can be found above.

BILLBOARD 2006 REVIEW
Rodrigo y Gabriela made their US TV debut on CBS's Late Late show on Friday Oct 6 which can be viewed below.
They appeared live on Italian National TV RAI Uno on October 12th and on Jonathan Ross's radio show on Radio 2 November 18th.
Rodrigo y Gabriela's new album went into the Irish album charts at no 1. It beat the Artic Monkeys and Johnny Cash to the top position. It's the first Instrumental album to reach the top spot. They were also broadcast on BBC, Later with Jools Holland and 4 Play on Channel 4 on May 12th.

My trio, Ameranouche, is opening for Herbie Hancock and Sonny Rollins at this years Newport Jazz Fest! Aretha Franklin is headlining. It is pretty exciting.
