Falgianos style has drawn comparisons to Pop / Alternative / Acoustic artists like Elliott Smith, Crowded House, James Taylor, The Smiths, Old 97s, Wilco, Prefab Sprout & David Byrne. Strong influences include Brit-pop, 70s folk, vintage and alt-country, 50s rock and roll, contemporary alternative acoustic, loungy Brazilian rhythms, and American big band crooners.
Rob has had opening slots for more than a dozen national recording artists including: Goo Goo Dolls, The Pushstars, Ingrid Michaelson, Emerson Hart (ex-Tonic), 10,000 Maniacs, Nickel Creek, Todd Phillips (ex-Toad), Nellie McKay, Deep Blue Something, 54’40, and Kevin Hearn (Barenaked Ladies).
Rob’s music was featured on the television show Felicity (WB) starring Keri Russell, and can be heard on the Season 4 DVD. He’s also had TV placements with "The Black Donnellys" (NBC) and "General Hospital" (ABC). Falgiano has earned a number of honors over the years, including First Prize in the 1998 Conan O’Brien College Band Search, narrowly missing the Grand Prize of performing on the show.

Cool..I remember Rod Nickson was playing a Mustang for while..on him it looked like a ukele! I'm not working on anything at the moment, but I might be recording soon.
ok, so I have decided that we have to have a date to catch up, since I have been lame and not made a song circle, due to the fact that I am a boring old early bird teacher now....you + me + fruity hobos (and maybe a stoned guy with a razor) = fun times to be had.
