General
Movies (going to see as well as working on), books, travel, TV (a bit of watching as well as working on), meeting and making new friends, hiking, some camping, studying law, mall browsing, people watching and meeting fellow actors.
I was one of ten movie/TV background artists interviewed for the feature documentary Strictly Background, which right out of the gate, became an award-winning documentary via its first film festival in March, 2007. It also screened in April 2007 at the prestigious Newport Beach Film Festival to a well receiving audience. It is advised to keep checking back at the feature's official website for other "release dates, film festival info, bios on the cast and filmmakers, as well as additional photos, press releases, blogs and many more surprises!"
More on the feature below (as well as its trailer), under Movies...
I am also a devout American Sovereign, not to be confused with a 14th Amendment-defined, second-class US Citizen.
To know or understand the distinction thereof, I urge you to view (all of) Aaron Russo's informative documentary (running time is about 100 minutes):
America: Freedom to Fascism
Your Heart Is Blue
Love is a doing word for you. You know it's love when you treat each other well.
You are a very giving lover, but you don't give too much. You expect something in return.
You have the power to persuade and influence others.
You're the type of person who can turn a whole room around.
The potential for great leadership is there, as long as you don't abuse it.
Always remember, you have a lot more power over people than you might think!
You feel your life is controlled both externally and internally.
You have a good sense of what you can control and what you should let go.
Depending on the situation, you sometimes try to exert more control.
Other times, you accept things for what they are and go with the flow.
You are a realist when it comes to luck.
You don't attribute everything to luck, but you do know some things are random.
You don't beat yourself up when bad things happen to you...
But you do your best to try to make your own luck.
You have a good deal of power, but you also know the pecking order.
You realize that working the system does get you further.
You know who to defer to and who to control.
When it comes to the game of life, you play things flawlessly.
You scored as Shaman, You are a Shamanic Empath. You are at one with nature and can speak with animal/plant life. Your powers come from the Sun & the Moon, and the elements. The weather moves with your mind and all of nature is at your beck and call. (From The Book of Storms by Jad Alexander)
You scored as II - The High Priestess. The High Priestess is a card of intuition, instinct and hidden knowledge. She knows all your secrets, you can hide nothing from her. Yet you will never know the secrets she herself protects. If well aspected in a Tarot spread, this card can indicate the use of intuition to solve problems; trust to your instincts. If badly aspected, it can mean suppression and ignoring of such instincts - following your head at the expense of your heart.
You scored as Celtic Pantheonic Pagan. Your answers leaned very close to that of the Celtic Pantheon. Very popular now among pagans, the Celtic Gods seem to draw those who are sensitive and insightful, but also very passionate about their beliefs. Many Pagan Holidays are named for this pantheon and here is where you'll find many stories on Horned God, Green Man, and Druids. You likely either have been or want to visit Stonehenge one day. Many Arthurian legnds include references to the Celtic faith, as well.
You scored as Tremere. You belong to the Tremere bloodline, the sorcerers of the vampire underworld. The Tremere command a terrible power over the blood of others. Many Tremere could pop a human being like a pimple with a wave of their hand. For this reason, many other vampires are wary around these cold, remorseless kin. All their time spent studying, however, has left them severely lacking in the physical department.
From an Old French form of a Germanic name. The second element is Germanic frid "peace," but the first element may be either gawia "territory," walah "stranger," gisil "hostage" or god "god" (see Godfrey). It is possible that two or more names merged into a single form. The name was introduced to England by the Normans, where it became common among the nobility. Famous literary bearers include the 12th-century chronicler Geoffrey of Monmouth and the 14th-century poet Geoffrey Chaucer, writer of 'The Canterbury Tales.'
I am not annoying at all. In fact most people come to me for advice. Of course they annoy the hell out of me. But what can I do? I am smarter than most people.
You're a bit ... unusual. And so is your blog.
You're impulsive, and you'll often post the first thing that pops in your head.
Completely uncensored, you blog tends to shock... even though that's not your intent.
You tend to change your blog often, experimenting with new designs and content.
You have the mind of an artist, even if you haven't developed the talent yet.
Expressive and aware, you enjoy finding new ways to share your feelings.
You often feel like you don't fit in - especially in traditional environments.
You have big dreams. The problem is putting those dreams into action.
I live for horror movies (though I've only worked one short indie horror film); I enjoy comedies of varied levels, action, thriller and suspense, certainly. I also like period pieces (Dangerous Liasons, Pride & Prejudice, Casanova, The Libertine, etc.). Too many specific tiles to list (obviously), but you can learn what I have seen, since early 2004 to the present, at my filmseen... page(s)....
Currently I'm very much looking forward to seeing released the award-winning feature documentary Strictly Background, for which I was interviewed.
You can see its trailer below. The feature's official website (which will evolve to include such updates as film festival information, release date(s), photos, bios, etc.).
A few selections reflecting favourite videos can be viewed here: http://geocities.com/badger_actor/vidlinks.htm (as MySpace screws up the links to their respective YouTube URLs).
Sorry you have to cut and paste; MySpace's latest "improvements" make off-site links problematic. A few above work, but this one won't.
Normally an "About Me" could take a while - thankfully I created a "background" page at my "old" site's FAQ page, which has comprehensive details About Me, almost TMI [bg].... but for the Here and Now, I am a professional actor, member SAG and AFTRA, info of which (stuff on which I've worked, et al) can be found at my new official website: geoffgould dot net.
You may Have Seen Me in a feature film or three, or when Sharon Stone ran her fingers through my hair on "The Practice," who knows? (As I don't know what you've seen....)
My humour and thought processes can best be described as my being a lifelong MSTie, long before MST3K ever was created.
I am an Anglophile, Harry Potter book reader, a Hufflepuff, and a fan of the original Doctor Who series.
I know my profile page isn't 1,000 percent "dazzling," with weird animations and music and video and such, but so many MySpace profiles I find to be virtually unviewable due to the amount of STUFF added that it takes such profile pages forever to load.
In the meantime, perhaps this About Me Survey could answer a few questions....
Please note: I am not just a Friend Collector
(also called a MySpace Whore)...
I am not being snobby, but I am discretionary and selective.
Those on my list below are people I already know/knew and/or have met, worked with, etc., and/or are new people/friends who either first contacted me in here, or upon receiving a "blind" Invite, on then checking the Inviters' profiles I might have found such people to be compelling enough to add (BOCTAOE).
Who I'd like to meet:
I'm looking to befriend and/or network with fellow professional actors as well as Industry Folk (I'm a member SAG, professional and very experienced).
I've worked on just under forty student films for USC, LA Film School, UCLA and NY Film Academy (leads, starring, co-starring, supporting roles, etc.), several of which have been official entries at numerous film festivals, both here and in international film festivals. To me working on-set, The Story Is The Star; I'm reliable, punctual, patient (unlike many who call themselves "actors," I have no problems or issues with long hours/days), and I'm hard-wired to work on films.
Currently I am between relationships; I'm not really pursuing/actively seeking one (BOCTAOE), generally this is as most women can't handle me (I'm the guy their mothers warned them about). I've learned (that once in a significant other type relationship), Libra females become problematic and I've finally Got It that (as far as becoming a significant other), Cancer females are not worth the trouble (and gods, but am I being diplomatic there...).
(They're fine as long as there are no romantic entanglements; Cancer and Libra females are fine as friends with whom to hang out and to have fun and stuff.)
(Meanwhile, if it did come down to it, I'd prefer an intuitive Pisces, a sexy Scorpio, a loyal, fellow sensuous Taurus, or a pleasant Aquarius.)
Brains over looks, btw....
Your Seduction Style: Ideal Lover
You seduce people by tapping into their dreams and desires.
And because of this sensitivity, you can be the ideal lover for anyone you seek.
You are a shapeshifter - bringing romance, adventure, spirituality to relationships.
It all depends on who you're with, and what is their vision of a perfect relationship.
Important Note: I am NOT seeking women who claim only to want to communicate via Yahoo Messenger.
Apart from email being far more efficient and practical (early on), I have noticed there are unscrupulous scammers here on MySpace who use IM to trick stupid people into sending them money. So from now on, introductory email messages professing undying love and begging me to IM them could be ignored and possibly deleted. (I may give a bit of a benefit of the doubt, but if it's obvious that's the "only way" y'want to communicate? Sorry. Email works just as well.)
Similarly, I do not use the "services" of webcam sites that claim to be "Free," yet insist in order to become a "Free Member" (to use their "free" service), one has to provide credit card information that they claim they "won't charge." Uh huh. Well, if you won't charge it, y'don't need it. Either it's Free or it's not. I can send a photocopy of my passport to a hardcopy address. Even claiming to need credit card information renders it Not Free. Having (or having access to) a credit card is not a proof of age.
So, ladies who want me to go to such sites?
Don't provide your handle.
Provide your handle and a functioning password... and I'll see you there.
Otherwise... don't hold y'breath expecting me.
ALSO, I am not seeking "Russian" women (with Russian [@mail.ru] email suffixes) whose MySpace profiles declare they're in an American state when in fact they're still in Russia (and so far all of whom I've even bothered contacting, invariably declare instanteous love within two or three replies, and it's not long before they begin suggesting (then insisting) being sent tons of money so they can "come visit" [or stay/marry, etc.]... uh huh... sure...).
To quote of of the best Doctor Who episodes: "I am too old a fish to be caught in such a net."
