Quinn Sullivan is a 9 year old guitarist, singer, songwriter and recording artist from the Boston area. He has been amazing people with his guitar since the extremely young age of 3. When Quinn was 6 years old, he caught the attention of the Ellen Degeneres Show and was flown out to Los Angeles to be a guest on her show. His rendition of The Beatles classic "Twist and Shout" brought down the house! Since then, Quinn has been performing regularly as a solo artist and also with his band.
This past year has been quite exciting for Quinn. He has performed on four different occasions with blues legend Buddy Guy and his amazing band, including the "Experience Hendrix" concert in Providence, Rhode Island. That night Quinn shared the stage with several of his Heroes, including Buddy Guy, Hubert Sumlin, Robert Randolph, Kenny Wayne Sheperd, Mick Taylor and Mitch Mitchell.
Quinn was recently featured on the Oprah Winfrey Show on Monday May 12, 2008. While in Chicago for the taping of the show, Quinn visited Buddy Guy at his Legends Blues club and was asked to sit in with Mr. Phil Guy and his band, much to the delight of Buddy and the rest of the audience at the club that night.
Quinn has been busy in the studio as well and recently finished recording his first single, "Sing, Dance and Clap Your Hands!" That same week Quinn and his band performed the song live on Boston's Fox News Morning Show. As Quinn said in an interview before the performance, "I just want to bring some happiness to the world with my music".
The journey continues for Quinn... Look for him on Buddy Guy's new CD SKIN DEEP to be released July 22,2008. Quinn is featured on "Whose Gonna Fill Those Shoes" Quinn is among several guests appearing on the record including Eric Clapton, Robert Randolph, Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi.
Quinn would like to thank Buddy for his incredible friendship and support, especially for the opportunity to participate in the recording of SKIN DEEP.
We love you Buddy!! Quinn will be performing with Buddy at select dates on the east coast this summer.
Quinn's single "Sing Dance and Clap Your Hands" will be available for downloading soon!!! Thanks for your support!
Thanks for the add, Quinn. You certainly have impressed this old former deejay. And, at last count, at least a couple dozen of my blog's readers since I posted your video with Buddy Guy.
Thanks so much for the add! I saw your videos on YOUTUBE and I was blown away!So I went right to MySpace to check out your site and to sign up to be your friend. Thanks again!
It looked funny and also was a great exposure for you, the corporate show (http://msstudios. vo. llnwd. net/o21/presspass/zune/Virtualization_Keynote_9-8-08_AM__1_Zune. wmv) you attended on Monday with "virtual" Buddy Guy, the event resembled me a Detroit sponsored blues ("Souped Up Ford", "Pontiac Blues" and so) perhaps you could be hired soon by someone else for writing something like "Linux Blues". But please Quinn, don't change your Strat for that flying V (Dean?), you looked like Michael Schenker, a fabulous metal player by the way. Consider that four of five of the greatest blues guitars are Strats (Mr. Buddy Guy's "Polka Dot" is considered one of them), check this http://play-blues-guitar. com/lists/famous-guitars-of-bluesmen/ (Did you already studied Rory Gallagher both his life and music? Don't trust me, just ask your pal Buddy about him)
Mister Buddy Guy is being a great and generous mentor to you and looks is having a lot of fun in the process of shaking blues scene with this "Blues Brothers 2.0" you both have become. He can do anything he likes, even pretend to be a right handed Albert King, switching to a flying V guitar, the diffeence is that he already have done everything like a master in his career and his image never will be hurt for such a move. But you are in the opposite end, you are starting a brilliant career. Look, that a huge 25 years old corporation was looking for you, simply to endorse a product whose name start with "v" like the "V" guitars you both were forced to use, they didn't honestly care enough about your talent, you both were an oddity that could be related with "V" that would them help to sell "v" products.
Meanwhile the new blues is expecting from you to fill a very special shoes in a near future. Keb-Mo, John Bonamassa, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Eric Sardinas, Davy Knowles et al are doing their part and
Hey they Quinn you blow me away with your playing and singing. When are you going to be on letterman or jay leno show?Caught your videos with buddy guy you were smokin hot.Keep it up your a blues star. Thanks for being a friend. Stingray from wisconsin!!!!!!!

I stumbled on your youtubes yesterday and was blown away! My guitar teacher was like you at your age and went on to win a grammy at 18. I showed you to him and he already knew of you. He says he has been watching you for a while. You've got it! Keep it! Let me know if you are ever in Knoxville Tennessee!
