2008 has already been a triumph for Canterbury alt. rockers, Phantom Lacuna. The band have gigged extensively in London and the South East and, most notably, played headline shows at Sound (formerly The Marquee Club), Leicester Square and The Grand, Clapham.
Festival appearances at events such as ZOO8, nr. Ashford, alongside acts such as Ash and Funeral for a Friend, RE:GENER8, Canterbury, and Riverside Live, Chatham, have widened the bands audience considerably.
Phantom Lacuna have also made appearances in the media this year including a plug in KERRANG! and starred on the covermount CD of ALTERNATIVE magazine as well as receiving the following review:

ha no probz, looks like its gunna be fun! I'm more into the live side of things, though if I got offered something in a studio, I wouldn't say no! Just going down to venues, meeting bands and hopefully getting some contacts and eventually full time work! x
So sorry I had to leave before the end of your set! I enjoyed what I saw. Great drums and harmony vocals. There was also some good bass playing going on there - very reminiscent of the early 90s crossover scene in San Fransisco! (always good). And what was that guitar all about? It looked as if it had a chaos pad installed in it. Can I have one of those please?
