Singer/songwriter, Peggy Day, has been performing and writing songs for over twenty years. Peggy has written 80+ songs. She says "life brings me messages to share", and Peggy delivers them in her own unique style.
Derived from Middle Eastern, Latin, Rock and Blues rhythms, Peggy calls her music Gypsy Rock. Aiming straight for the heart. IT'S ABOUT LOVE, CHILD’S PLAY, LOOK TO THE SKY, SCARY, LADY ATLAS, GYPSIES FOR LOVE, SPRINGTIME, HELLO AND LET IT BE GOOD-BYE, are just a few titles of Peggy's original songs.
Peggy has performed with artists such as Vince Welnick, of the Tubes and The Grateful Dead, Country Joe Mc Donald, Merle Saunders, songwriter Dewey Terry, Barbara Mauritz of Lamb, plus many more great musicians. The Gypsy Knights include~ ***Garth O’Brien plays outstanding Lead Guitar and backing vocals. Garth adds so much to this original sound. Garth is a gypsy for sure and a much respected musician. Garth and Peggy have been playing together for over 8 years.
***Skeer plays Bass and sings back up vocals too. Skeer’s fret less Bass reflects the fingering he plays with such ease and style. *** Baba Shibambo is our newest Gypsy Knight. Baba adds super rhythms to our gypsy rock sound on congas, bongo's and hand percussion.***Freddie Araiza on Drums. rhythm master and an all around awesome musician and Gypsy Knight.
