"Peachcake wants to "protect the world from audio-terrorism" and if that means keeping the Backstreet Boys from making a comeback, then they have the public's full support. The electro poppers got their first sign of success when some dude made a song just to poke fun at them. The duo may have started as a joke, but Peachcake is definitely getting the last laugh. Finally, boys who make pop music - and the word "band" is nowhere to be found.
Sounds like: Electrically charged bubble-gum blown up quite florescently all over your face." - URB Magazine
"Maybe Peachcake is changing the world through electronic music, one tattooed metal fan at a time." - Soundcheck Magazine
"Peachcake serves up electronic party music for the indie rock crowd." - Phoenix New Times
"As its anomalous moniker suggests, this rather forward-thinking and (in)famously crowd-pleasing synthpop duo from Arizona takes pride in celebrating the jollification of music and hopes to revolutionize the way we perceive performance by making things more visceral and less mechanical." - REAX Music Magazine
"A musical benediction in pajamas." - 944 Magazine
"...You guys are the Salvador Dali of Music." - MC Lars
"These guys are some of the nicest people I know making music. Their live show makes ours look like MTV's Unplugged." - Forrest Kline (Hellogoodbye)
Peachcake is something that was created in hopes of making the world a safer, better, happier place for all the creatures inhabiting it. We team up with various individuals from time to time, who help further our quest, enhance our ideologies/enablement of creative endeavors, and see eye to eye on our desire to help people and improve the earth's homeostasis. We do this by creating a fun, upbeat, positive message and environment through which our sonorous sounds, live application of our antics and music can be correctly conveyed and seen in a lighthearted, personable, and interactive way to thus see people smile, laugh, dance, and just plain...feel good! It's all about spreading the understanding, acceptance, and greatness of vibes!
We love and listen to you for who you are, and encourage that you share that with the world to the greatest extent. May your innate, fundamental core of creativity shine and shout to the vast peaks and underground valley's upon every inch of this earth with the most shimmering, loud light and sonic amplitude!
Greatness abound my friends...Spread the great vibes from the greatmorning, to the greatnight that encompasses our lives...

VIDEO UPDATE FROM STEFAN!
"...Peachcake are going to take over the world." - The Jersey Beat
In their first four years together, Carefree, AZ outfit Peachcake have gone through more than most bands go through in an entire 20-25 year career (eat that, U2). After their formation in 2003, Stefan Pruett (aka Space Panda) and John O'Keefe (DJ JohnO)’s quest to do something positive led them to release a well-received EP on Jim Adkins from Jimmy Eat World's label Western Tread. The response to their music and interactive live performances was overwhelming and the duo quickly found themselves playing sold-out shows to fans of all ages, being picked up by a new label, and receiving unusual offers, such as being the first-ever band asked to play Burning Man. With a full-length debut in the making, Peachcake were poised to take over the world - but perhaps as is the very nature of fate, the band soon thereafter found themselves hit with a slew of unfortunate incidents: unfair arrests, accidents, arguments, and ultimately, death.
At the same time that URB Magazine dubbed Peachcake one of their '100 Artists To Watch,' and several other publications were featuring the band, they were dealing with some of the most trying obstacles in their career. A run-in with the wrong booking agent caused DJ JohnO to literally disappear for two months, and in September 2007, the shocking death of Stefan's little brother Alex (Peachcake keyboardist) caused the duo to put down their swords and unite, with more passion and inspiration than ever before.
After the death of Alex, the band decided to take things into their own hands. Already known for their motivational performances and youth outreach programs, (the band have a youth hotline and e-mail address set up where teens can call in to talk), Peachcake finally bought themselves out of their own record contract in order to self-release their ultimate creation and beacon of hope and positivity, What Year Will You Have the World?, under The Planet Awesome Creative Collective/Subtractive label. This caught the attention of Warner Music/ADA, who picked up the album for distribution and will be releasing it in the US on Nov. 18th. It appears once again that Peachcake is coming back out on top.
