North by Northwest is the musical product crafted by the minds, the hands and the vocal chords of Andrea Carletti, Federico Forleo, Federico Giorgi and Fabio Luppi: it reveals itself in long compositions, sophisticated vocal and guitar harmonies, epic melodies, refined chord sequences, violent outbursts and calm atmospheres.
It owes these virtues to the most elegant progressive rock, to post-rock and post-metal, to grunge and various forms of alternative rock.

Throughout the years it has crossed its path with MEI (Meeting delle Etichette Indipendenti, an annual meeting of all Italian independent record labels), which included the song "The Long Goodbye" in the compilation "The Best of Indies in Italy, Midem 2007"; with director Bernardo Bertolucci and his movie "The Sheltering Sky", whose DVD release included "The Long Goodbye" as the musical comment of the special feature "Un petit tournage - 15 minuti con Bernardo"; Arcipelago Film Festival (the biggest short film festival in Italy), RadioRai (Italian public broadcasting) and RadioRock (the most important rock radio in Rome); a lot of local and international bands with which we shared the stage including Cheer-Accident, Deville, Moving Mountains and many others.

It has recently concluded the recording process of its first full-length album titled "Mirrors To Remind Ourselves Who We Are", under the guide of Fabio "Reeks" Recchia (Germanotta Youth, Nohaybandatrio, Inferno sci-fi grind'n'roll, B For Bang and many other projects) at his studio Hombre Lobo (where important Italian bands such as Zu, Brutopop and Assalti Frontali recorded).
