Inspired by bands such as KISS, Beatles, Thin Lizzy, The Who, Queen, Led Zeppelin and Motown classics, NAKED was founded in Helsinki at the break of the new millennium. With two albums (‘This One Goes To Eleven’, 2004 and ‘Let’s Get Naked…And Start A Revolution’, 2006) recorded, NAKED released two Finnish top-5 singles and played shows abroad in Italy, Germany and Russia. NAKED also supported The 69 Eyes on their tour of Finland in 2006. Stefan Lindfors (director of HIM-Funeral Of Hearts video) directed two NAKED-videos, Sister and Revolution. The latter was filmed with The Muff roaming the streets of London in a straitjacket.
In late 2006 NAKED’s line-up was finalised as bass monster Ilari was forced to join the band. Shortly after, NAKED and producer Nick Triani plunged into the task of recording their strongest, punkiest, wildest and ridiculously kick-ass album ‘Superstate’, due in August 2007.
The first single ‘No One’s Perfect’ supports an epic, bombastic and pillow-biting sound, as well as keeping it real.
