Moon Maan is a Minneapolis-based rock band formed in early 2004.
They made their live debut at 2004's South By South West Festival (SXSW) in Austin, TX.
Moon Maan finally released their self-titled debut CD in the United States on June 5th, 2007.

Rick McCollum .. Guitar, Vocals and Theremin
Rick was a founding member of the Afghan Whigs, who recorded five highly acclaimed albums for Sub Pop, Elektra, and Columbia Records before disbanding in 2000.
Erik Mathison .. Drums and Percussion
Erik has played with a variety of Minneapolis based artists, including Balloon Guy (Warner Brothers), Polara (Interscope), Jessy Greene, and Mark Mallman.
Casey O'Brien .. Bass
Casey is Moon Maan's newest member, but has been laying down the low end on the Minneapolis music scene for quite a while now. Some of his other projects include Face Candy (Rhymesayers), Carbon Carousel, and Cheetah Numchuck
Former members include Bryan Knisley on guitar and Kate Clements and Mark Pakulski on bass. Bryan and Mark are now members of the Minneapolis band Grey Skies.
