About me:
I'm a bassist/composer/songwriter/producer. Hmmm, guess I could have just said "musician" and left it at that! I'm rockin' in the free world with The Drew Davis Band. We're a rockin' country band from LA and we can't wait to bring it to your town! I love life and crave experiences. I try to see the good in all situations. I believe that external circumstances don't have the power to make us happy or sad, grateful or angry. We choose our attitude at all times. In a past life, I was a biologist - but that was the '90's. For better or worse, there's still a scientific bent to my thinking. (The guys in the band tell me that I have the best memory of us all. This comes as a big surprise to my hippie friends from high school...) My last straight job was as a faculty member of the University of Southern California where I taught the Bass. I've lived and traveled all over the world (I speak passable Italian and French, and a little bit of Spanish) but my favorite place is camping high up in the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range in California - clean air, breathtaking mountains, fresh trout (mmmm!) nothing better!
