Mintzkov Luna will henceforth be known as Mintzkov. With ‘360°’, their second album, Mintzkov is aiming for the big prize. The first single, ‘One Equals a Lot’, stands for the new and reborn Mintzkov. Straightforward, powerful and adventurous. Their debut album ‘M for Means and L for Love’ already contained a number of hitsingles such as ‘Mimosa’, ‘United Something’ and ‘I Do’. While ‘M for Means and L for Love’ was a wonderful listening experience, filled with subdued tension, ‘360°’ has Mintzkov crackling like never before. You need references? ‘360°’ was produced by Mark Freegard, a Scottish lad who has previously worked with The Breeders, Manic Street Preachers and The Cranes.
With ‘360°’ Mintzkov is searching for the basis. Making a second album forces a band to think about their position and reconsider that position. Making good songs is one thing but making brilliant songs that make a difference is a whole other thing. On ‘360°’, Mintzkov has succeeded in the latter. Making a circle: that about sums up Mintzkov’s working process for ‘360°’. Taking different paths and enjoying what their distractions have to offer without losing track of the ultimate goal: coming back home and finding what you’ve been searching for.
360° will be released in Germany, Austria and Switzerland on 28 March 2008.

Hallo. :D nouja, ik ken jullie muziek pas sinds gisteren, ik schaam mij daar best voor haha, want ik zag dat jullie dus 24 Augustus in Maastricht gaan spelen. ^^ Ik ga daar gewoon flyers uitdelen op die festival zelf, maar ik was dus nieuwsgierig wat voor een muziek daar komt en ik vind jullie al helemaal geweldig ja haha :D Ik vind het echt wel tof dat jullie komen. ^^ Dan zie ik jullie daar dan! duurt wel nog even, maarach, de dagen gaan zo om. :)
Ge lacht er mischien mee maar was da zo al een beetje van plan... Ulle live zien is een beetje een verslaving geworden en ben serieus aan het afkicken nu. Tis al weer twee maand geleden ofzo in de ab en toen heb ik ma den helft gezien omda ik te laat was door het goede weer ;-))
