My name is Matt Blair and I am a 28 year old singer/songwriter originally from Wilmington, NC. After spending 2 and a half years on staff at Port City Community Church in Wilmington, NC I came off staff in February of 2006 to pursue my music full time. Since stepping out on faith I have experienced God in some amazing ways I never thought possible. He has been so faithful in meeting every need that my family has had. He has also opened some amazing doors giving me the opportunity to perform my music and lead people in Worship. My new EP "Letting Go" came out in November of 2006 and it was produced by my good friend Jason Roy the lead singer of Building 429. My hope is that this EP will be another tool that God can use to help people go deeper in their relationship with Him. For those of you who don't know anything about me I have a beautiful wife who's name is Erin and a beautiful daughter named Kaylee, as well as another baby on the way in October of 2007. We are just excited about what God is doing in our lives. One thing I want people to know is that I desire to see people live a life of untamed faith and not to coast in their walks with God. Personally experiencing this life of untamed faith has led me to pack the family up and move to Clarksville, TN just outside of Nashville to take the next step in what God has called us to do. We ask for your prayers as we continue to share what God is doing in our lives in the hopes it might help others.
My church has a praise band and we play every Sunday morning. I play the drums and the guitar. We play a lot of your music. Do you think you could send me guitar tabs for I Choose You?
