About Marquis

MARQUIS is a new dj monthly in the District of Columbia brought to you by the fine folks at Echelon Productions. It is held every LAST THURSDAYS of each month @ the swank NAPOLEON BISTRO in Adams Morgan (1847 Columbia Rd., NW). Resident DJ's, Outputmessage, Triobelisk (Shelby Cinca) and Micah Vellian (the dude responsible for Person) strive to get everybody's asses shakin' on the dance floor. They spin the hits alright, but not without adding their own flavor to it. Every month will be filled with exclusive remixes and mash ups of the new joints, to keep it hot for all those who come out! Keep checking back for downloads of their live sets!

It is the first tour that creatively combines gallery shows, public panel discussions and numerous murals to present the artists’ unique approach to public arts. Friday, May 23rd, 2008 – National Harbor, MD The tour will officially end with a gallery exhibit opening at Art Whino on Friday, May 23, 2008 from 6 pm to midnight. The audience will have chance to view artists’ recently finished canvases and a slideshow of photographs from the previous days of the tour.
