Margot has received many accolades following the release of her 2007 album, TORN, produced by Marco Delmar. She won the "Young Artist Award" from the Mid-Atlantic Song Contest for her song Serendipity as well as MASC honors for Quiet Hero and Falling Star. Margot is also the recipient of the "New Artist of the Year" Washington Area Music Award. In addition she has received Wammie nominations for the Fans' Favorite Award, Rock Female Vocalist, Rock Recording (Torn), Video of the Year (Liberty), and Song of the Year (Fly Away).
Margot tours both as a solo acoustic artist and with a full band.
She has performed in productions featuring David Foster, Josh Groban, Cher, Lionel Richie, Dennis DeYoung, The Corrs, Chuck Berry, Marc Anthony, Chic, Brian McKnight, Jessica Simpson, Judy Collins, Placido Domingo.
In DC Margot has performed at the Music Center at Strathmore, the Kennedy Center, Wolf Trap, Lincoln Theater, the State Theatre, IOTA, Jammin' Java, etc.
Now 17, Margot is already at work on new projects. She's hit Blue Jay Studio with producer Marty Walsh in Boston. She put out a benefit CD, "Christmas", with multi-Grammy Award winner Jon Carroll. And now she's back in the studio with Marco Delmar to rock out some more. New album coming soon!
Margot has been invited to be an Artist-In-Residence with the Music Center at Strathmore for their 2008-09 season.
