I am heading to Bend... My Birthplace! I am very excited, as I love Oregon too. I am driving, so that makes it all the much better. Can't stand the 5oo + miles between Beaumont and the California/Oregon border, but the itense pain of numbness is well worth it once I hit the placid Highway 97. Looking forward to a peaceful escapement from the fast-paced California life.
