Love & hate.
I can't stop singing and sometimes I record the evidence and post it here.
I grew up in Brusly, Louisiana, but live in McComb, Mississippi for now.
You can catch me anywhere from Houston to Memphis pretty regularly, usually with an instrument and/or books, hanging around with odd sorts of people.
"Tyronza," "River Queen" and "Shake It On Down" are rough drafts of originals; "Something About What Happens When We Talk" is a Lucinda Williams song that I recorded a couple of years ago.

Hey Ms. Sweet Voice! Was looking at the summer evening sky turning from gold and pink to blue and thought of you (no rhyme intended). Heard your voice out there so came in and wrote you a note. Hope you're full into the music mode now that college is out. And it's gooooood!
Well. I'm totally obsessed with all the stuff that you gave me. It's been making packing up such a lovely activity, as well as all of my drives to visit people for the last time. Even my mom was asking about it, so I made her a mix of what I've listened to so far. My only complaint is...no Kelsey Waite on it. Maybe one day. Have a marvelous summer, lady.
Hey Kels! Hope you're doing great :)Lets hook up sometime this year ok. We'll be all over the place but i can get us a cool show in NC somewhere for sure. Keep us posted on touring. Jackie sends a hug and we'll talk to you later ok - Lee
Hey, sweet LA songster/singer! Sorry for the late response, just been so damn busy! I'm fine and dandy, thanks for asking. I'm all over the map with career and a relationship but it's all good. I'm in super-hustle mode right now with the genre summer movies coming out. Wish me luck! As always, I adore the tunes and your vocal stylings. Hope to see you someday soon in L.A. ! ---Sammy
Hey Kelsey, Digging your original songs, and your Lucinda Williams cover...Hope all is cool down south. As a Lucinda fan, you may wanna give a listen to our song "Blue Lu", which is a very personal song that is on our new CD. It's up on our MySpace site now. All the best in the future...and Slim Harpo RULES!
