Hello to you - my name is katherine crowe and I have lived breathed and loved music all my life - from aged 8 I started to write music and sing - it is my passion and now my gift to you.
My first album Missionary girl was signed to a label years ago - it got great reviews in magazines such as Q Magazine and I was lucky enough to get the title track on the front cover of classic rock mag. The record company at the time were in there early years and although the reviews were great - were not big on promotion - the world did not know about it - and so it lay dormant for many years.
The highlights making that album were working with John Wesley and making a video with Storm Thorgoson (makes videos and artwork for pink floydd). I am honored to have met such a great man.
Well 10 years down the line the internet has now made it possible for independents like me to get my music heard and for the first time in years I know that music is my living and still my first love.
My sales are on the up and up!! Hooorahhhh!!! Thanks to Cd Baby, Itunes, Napster and rhapsody etc and I can see that this year already is the best yet.
My new album is in the making with the greatest people in the world and I am happier than ever. I can feel in my bones that this is a great album - everyone that is a part of it is doing so because they want to and because they have a passion for music - that makes me so happy. This year looks great!!!
To think that not so long ago I was going through chemotherapy for breast cancer - my children only 1 & 3 at the time. Me and my family experienced so much in one year and is has changed our lives forever - in the best way possible. My love for my little family is infinite - they are the best anyone could wish for!
I know know that anything is possible and that people and life are awesome!!
