   About Kaitlyn ni Donovan
Kaitlyn Ni Donovan,
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Kaitlyn Ni Donovan is a classically trained violinist and composer of experimental music, dream pop and soundtrack music from Portland, Oregon. She is self taught on a multitude of instruments and is known for unorthodox chord changes and lyrics peppered with dense language and romantic imagery. Vocally she sings in a style that is angelic and sparse and is sometimes compared to Elizabeth Fraser of The Cocteau Twins. In the mid 1990's she performed with six or more players live. These performances included strings, toy piano's, acoustic and electric instruments. This sound would become known as chamber pop or Baroque pop in the North West music scene. In 1999 Hush Records released ni Donovan's "Songs for Three Days". Produced by Tony Lash, 'Three Days' along with the compilation called "Flag" would flagship Hush's start to national distribution. In 2000 Kaitlyn would join the shoegaze band called The High Violets. Extensive touring would put her solo career on hold. Plans for a 2008 solo release is reported. Solo Discography 1999 Songs for 'Three Days (Hush Records) 1996 Dinner with Bosch (New Weave Records) 1993 Cannible Spirit (Cannible Music)

Songs for 'Three Days' is out of print.

Kaitlyn is also busy in the world of soundtrack composition.
As a lover of film, this is a perfect match and natural
progression for her scenematic sound.
She now has recorded a full length albums worth of material
for Emmy winning director Dutch Rall's feature
film, "The Incurable".
Also, listen for her music in the PBS documentary
shot in high definition called, "The Wine Roads Of Texas".
Chad Crouch founder of Hush records seemed to have an early premonition years ago of how fitting kaitlyn's music was perfect for film saying, "...Songs for ‘Three Days’ is a classic still overlooked. It is only a matter of time until the nation collectively looks back on it and embraces it. If I were the filmmaker I dreamed of one day becoming I would make the film to illuminate the soundtrack, win The Cannes Film Festival, and give the music the audience it deserves."

It was freaky enough that I thought something was wrong with my audio player. Good Job. It had the intended affect.

It would fit well in a movie as a transition between an idyllic scene and a moment of upcoming violence - remembered or present tense.
