My influences come from most of my dear friends who are artists and musicians and their influences. i love music and art that defines life. To me, it's all about the emotion and the realness of the artist.

Jonie grew up in the greater Los Angeles area in southern California.
Leaving her childhood home behind, she moved to Reno,
Nevada to spread her wings, where she, "found (her) song in a six string",
and became a finalist in Harrah's "Search for the Stars" singer/songwriter
competition, and received airtime on local radio, and her music was also featured in an independent film, “Less Like Me” by, Gift For Fiction Entertainment.
Her journey took her next to Savannah, Georgia. She played the Savannah, Georgia Pride! for
three consecutive years. Sharing the stage with songwriting greats such as,
Eric Himan, Julia Carroll, and American Idols’, Kimberley Locke,
just to name a few. Jonie has also been heard on local S.C.A.D. radio waves, as well as “Ruby fruit” and other pod casting shows.
Jonie has since moved back to Reno, Nevada as of March 08' and already has shows booked in the area! Check her out- you won't be disappointed!!!

It's goin great out here. We are just easin into winter. lol Fall is my favorite season! The weather is perfect and the leaves are so pretty especially up here around "my" mountains. lol
