All things happen in God’s perfect timing. Just ask John Waller, the newest artist on the Beach Street Records roster. Waller has seen God move in a powerful way as he’s entered a new season in his life.
A talented singer, songwriter, and worship leader considered by many to be one of the best-kept secrets in the Christian music community, Waller gained national attention fronting the group According to John. But as often happens in the music industry, the group’s record label went out of business, and John and his cohorts found themselves without a deal.
“When the journey came to an end with According to John, I left it behind and I really closed that chapter in my life,” says Waller. “I never had any intentions of being a recording artist again. I went about a year without writing any songs.”
He and his wife, Josee, moved to Colorado and helped launch SouthLink Church, where he became worship pastor. It became an extraordinary season in Waller’s life and ministry. And at a time when he had given up “the music business,” he suddenly felt more inspired and began writing songs that were immediately embraced by his congregation. The people at SouthLink began clamoring for John to make a CD of his new material.
“I was teaching my songs to our worship team and we were playing them in church. They were declaration kind of songs,” he says of the new songs God was laying on his heart. “People wanted to go sit in their car and listen to them. They didn’t want to wait a whole week before they could hear these songs again. I saw that happening and I said, ‘If this could happen with these people then perhaps they are meant for a bigger flock.’”

Can you imagine how things could improve if God Himself was helping you?
It can happen.
But, to receive God's help you must cooperate with Him.
God is ready, willing, and able to help you. He desires to help you. But the choice is yours.
When you act contrary to God's principles, you stop God from helping you as much as He desires.
To cooperate with God, you must trust Him and walk in faith. You must agree with God and speak in agreement with His Word. And you must walk in love. To do that, constant meditation on God's Word will be required.
You will also need to humble yourself and ask the Lord to help you in everything you do. God does not force His help on you without you requesting His help.
Does this sound too hard? It's not. Just ask the Lord to help you and He will!
ISAIAH 41:10 NIV 10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
ROMANS 8:31 NIV 31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
SAY THIS: God is for me. God is my Helper! I will not worry or be afraid.
"While I'm Waiting" has really spoke to my heart today and has encouraged me to get back into serving God no matter my circumstances. He knows what we are all going through but it doesn't mean we have to give up on Him. Thanks.
