JOAN OSBORNE REUNITES WITH HER GRAMMY ALL-STAR TEAM ON NEW ALBUM 'LITTLE
WILD ONE' DUE OUT SEPTEMBER 9
RICK CHERTOFF, ROB HYMAN AND ERIC BAZILIAN LAST COLLABORATED WITH OSBORNE ON
HER FIVE MILLION SELLING, SIX-TIME GRAMMY-NOMINATED, BREAKTHROUGH ALBUM
'RELISH'
Joan Osborne has reunited with producer/writers Rick Chertoff, Rob Hyman,
and Eric Bazilian on her new album 'Little Wild One,' scheduled for a
September 9 release on her own Womanly Hips label in partnership with Plum
Records. The team last worked together on Osborne's breakthrough, debut
album 'Relish,' which sold five million copies worldwide and yielded the
smash hit "One Of Us" as well as scoring six Grammy nominations.
'Little Wild One' features eleven new songs, most of them written by Osborne
in collaboration with Chertoff, Bazilian and Hyman. Highlights include
"Hallelujah in the City," "Sweeter Than The Rest," "Cathedrals," the
haunting title track "Little Wild One" and the stripped-down "Bury Me On The
Battery," an ode to Osborne's coming of age hometown, New York City.
In a career that spans over fifteen years, Joan has proven to be an
artistically restless yet consistently enthralling performer. In 2002, she
cemented her reputation as a top tier soul singer with an incredible turn in
the acclaimed documentary film 'Standing in the Shadows of Motown,' followed
by a tour with legendary Motown backing band The Funk Brothers. In 2003,
Osborne toured with the Dixie Chicks and then surprised and wowed audiences
touring throughout America for two years as the lead singer for The Dead. In
2007, she graced the stage of the Grand Ole Opry.
Osborne loves to sing and perform in many different genres, but she comes
back to her soulful rock roots on 'Little Wild One.' Watch for Joan to tour
extensively around the release of her new album.

I don't really know where to begin this....I know you're in town tonight for a show at the Bomhard. I wish I could be there to hear you and see you sing but certain and uncertain financial situations and other important familial- type matters have prevented me attending tonight.
Throughout our lives I think we have criss-crossed paths tangentially and have queried you about having been on High Q and having been in Mr. Pennington's class in 1973, but have received no reply....for some reason now I feel a certain connection to you and feel to the need to communicate with you......
Like I said earlier I don't where to start..here is my Myspace acct. maybe this will help out with you filling in the blanks.... :
Welcome to Nashville! We're coming to see you tonight at the Belcourt! CAn't wait! I saw you in Phoenix, AZ back in '93 or '94 w/Melissa Etheridge. I've been a fan ever since! You go girl! See you tonight.
Just got my copy of 'Little Wild One', and I have to say I LOVE it!! Once again, you just inspire me to no end with your gorgeous voice, that is so full of heart and soul. I am heading to New York tomorrow and want to pass it around, I am just so excited about your wonderful new CD!!
Hi Joan, thank you for add! The first and the last time I saw your show was 12 years ago, at Nakano Sun Plaza in Tokyo. That's so great! I hope to see you someday...with Rob and Eric ;-)
