Blaire Starring in the English version of Hayao Miyazaki's
Jewel and Blaire . Two sisters - separated in age by two years. But together in talent and vision from the start.
Jewel Restaneo's career started at age two, when she first performed for live television audiences. By the time she was seven, she'd already enjoyed a career in music, with four recorded CD's, eight music videos, and a European radio hit at the ripe old age of 3.
Blaire Restaneo joined her sister in singing, and after both Jewel & Blaire took starring turns together by the year 2000 on Broadway and the tours of both "Annie" and "Annie Get Your Gun" (with the likes of Reba McEntire, Larry Storch, Cheryl Ladd, Tom Wopat, Conrad John Shuck, Crystal Benard, and Patrick Cassidy), they continued to hone their acting craft - Jewel being cast in the Broadway production of "A Christmas Carol" in 2001 and 2002 at Madison Square Garden with Tim Curry and F. Murray Abraham, while Blaire was starring in the feature film "Confection", and all the while having fun taking numerous guest turns with the likes of Bono, Britney Spears and Will Ferrell in some of the most memorable Saturday Night Live and Mad TV skits in their down time.
They've relocated to Los Angeles to focus more on their singing, television, and film careers, and have already guest starred on hit TV shows such as Wanted, Duck Dodgers and Cold Case. At the same time, their own designs have been featured in some of the top boutiques on both coasts, they've been creating and developing their own original children's programming, and are now also developing an interactive children's network. Meanwhile, they've also been featured in starring voice-over roles for a number of animated projects, have had their original recordings featured in soundtracks, and have even been approached to score a feature film. Also accomplished musicians, they're presently in studio finishing the writing and recording of their first full-length album of pop/rock music with major label release anticipated in the near future.
They have collaborated in writing numerous songs to create an album that is making tidal waves in the ever changing music industry. Carol Spencer V.P. of creative direction at Sony Music Publishing describes their songs as, "Some of the most innovative work written by the youth of America in years.” Jay Landers of Columbia Records said, quote, "I visualize Jewel & Blaire being at the top of the game in the very near future.” Skip Fredricks, S.V.P. of Content for Wizzard Media, the world’s largest podcasting network said, quote, “ I was blown away by the impact of Jewel and Blaire’s recent live debut performance of their sensational new material and, in collaboration with iRecords, we are thrilled to be able to provide this original video content to our 300 million worldwide mobile users.” The combination of songs creates a startling look into the minds of two teens dealing with the trial and tribulations of everyday life, in a world that has become unpredictable and complicated. When we are tempted to conform to the ways of the world, just realize that Jesus Christ was also tempted in all the ways we are tempted. By his experiencing the same pressures we feel today, we have an advocate (defense attorney) between us and God (Jesus Christ) who knows what we are going through. We can boldly approach God for His mercy and have His help in time of need. God's promise to us is that when we are tempted, He will alway provide a way out for us. We just have to look for it to see it.

Hey Jewel and Blaire. Its been a while but CONGRATS on the Whisky A Go Go gig! Its definitely a big plus for your career! Over the past 30 years I've been to the Whisky several times, during trips to Cali, and seen many top name bands that were first starting out...some of them got their start at the Whisky!
