Jem and the Holograms / Jem and the Holograms & The Misfits / The Misfits
Featured In The Season 1 Episode: 'Disaster'
Kid Rhino released two Jem box sets in the USA, but failed to complete the series. They released Season 1 and 2 (The Beginning to Glitter and Gold) and Season 3 part 1. The Season 3 part 1 DVD set was somewhat in order, but Rhino decided to scrambe in some episodes and take a few out, which raised a red flag that they would not release the part 2. They indeed dropped the ball and never released the rest of the episodes. Sony Wonder now owns the rights and has not released any info on any upcoming DVD street dates. Sony also bought the rights to G.I.Joe and Transformers, which Kid Rhino did not complete either!
Below is a DVD review for the Season 1 DVD box set that was featured in ToyFair magazine. The magazine generally focuses on strictly boy/male toy lines, but due to fan's requests they have since featured Jem articles, price guides, and a few gag columns.
'VH1: I Luv the 80's' This is the spot that featured Jem and the Holograms on the special that aired in the networks program before last on the 80's. There have been 3 I Luv the 80's specials, this was the Revisted version. lol. Did that make sense?

Who I'd like to meet:
Do you know of any artist, cast/crew members on MySpace or other who worked on the JEM cartoon series or Hasbro toy line? Please let us know. Please drop us a note or email us directly at JemsSpace@aol.com
Below is a 5 minute video featuring 10 different Jem toy commercials. It's incredible to watch. Hopefully this will get everyone motivated to post pics of their Jem doll collections, etc. here.
I just wanted to drop you guys a line and say how VERY VERY thankful I am to you for putting together such a snazzy, flashy and MOST importantly well organized and full of SUBSTANCE page about Jem & her holograms. Over the past couple of years I've really enjoyed coming here to learn about everything in the Jem world and I also am VERY appreciative of the bulletins that you post whenever there is a Jem news in any form. I see and read them all and feel very privileged to have that feed as an almost daily source of what's happening within the Jem community and world. Even when you post updates about other Jem sites changing URLs or adding vast amounts of material that is extremely generous and helpful since I am attempting to track down all sorts of Jem things for my collection and some sites are more helpful than others. I think Jem is the perfect embodiment of the 80's icon and probably of the later half of the decade as a whole. I was born in 1987 but discovered the DVD sets after seeing a segment on VH1 I love the 80's a few years back and have been in head-over-heels ever since. Unfortunately I still haven't seen the last half of season 3 like many others since the Region 1 release remains incomplete and the French DVDs lack English audio : ( I feel a bit guilty for asking this, since I am a strict legal-copy-DVD buyer but I just feel really let down with Rhino dropping the ball on finishing before their license was up and Hasbro's lack of announcements concerning the future of what I consider to be a culturally signifigant show along with G.I. Joe and Transformers and even He-Man/She-Ra....but would you happen to know of any alternate resources for good quality fan-made DVDs to complete my series? I'm anxious to see the Stingers in action and which storylines are resolved before the shows end.
Sorry for writing such a long comment below, but I feel so utterly grateful for everything you have provided on here and it's the main reason I still have a myspace to be quite honest. Thank you! - Travis
