I'm a sailing freak! Yes, I'm addicted. I've taken my my ASA 104 weekend sail to Catalina. Now it's time to me to get certified! This will allow me to charter boats for a weekend and sail around to the islands near beautiful Southern California. Anyone game? Eventually, my goal is to be able to sail from Los Angeles to el Caribe. There is nothing quite like sailing.

My dogs, causing greatness in the world, friends, swing dance (other dance styles too), sailing, and my motorcycle are my choices in life. I run a catalog company's direct marketing department: catalog, SkyMall, Internet, and magazine/newspaper advertising. If you read or fly, you have seen my ads. I am damn good at what I do.
I believe that everyone is a something greater than they can imagine themselves. I would like to be the cause of people finding the greatness of their life!

The ship is docked in San Diego, they have 2 clippers, a pirate museum, a steam paddle boat and a submarine (Robin was so claustrophobic in their she almost lost it) In terms of sailing, I have actually sailed from Long Beach to Catalina, piloting a 29 ft sailboat. My friend taught me the basics of sailing, pointed to Catalina and then went below and passed out. It was a sink (literally) or swim lesson. The trip back was crazy, because he decided to rid himself of a hangover and passed out on the way back. We sailed back in 6 foot seas, and I got really sick. It really was a great experience though.
