West Palm Beach native and singer/songwriter Jamie Floyd, 23, has been surrounded by music since before she could talk. Raised by two professional musician parents, she grew up singing in numerous venues throughout south Florida starting when she was just 2 years old. Her talent along with her down-to-earth approachability soon earned her incredible opportunities to open shows for some of music's most talented artists including: James Taylor, Rascal Flatts, and Neal McCoy.
At age 13, she signed her first publishing and production deal with Ric Wake (Senior VP of A&R, Epic/Sony) and his W&R Group. Since then she's worked with some of Nashville's most successful artists, writers and musicians. Today she continues to play the Nashville area music scene and writes full time for Cherry Heart music as of December 2007.
She is a young woman with an old soul and a sincere love for making music. She says, "Making music is something that is so precious to me--its fulfilling, energizing, and especially therapeutic! Most of all, I see it as such a gift to be able to share something that means so much to me with an audience. I want people to walk away from my music affected."

Hey Jamie! I caught your round at the Hog's Breath just now. Great job! Ain't it hot enough down there in Key West without you heating things up in the little red dress? I hope someone got pics (can't see much on the webcam). And tell your sis she done good, too (at both the singin' and the lookin' hot).

Good seeing you, too! I won't be stranger. In fact I'm putting together a nice plan for stalking you when I have free time. That is, unless you you've already settled down with "White Polo Guy". With his sweet mojo, I may already be too late.
Hey Jamie! The new songs sound terrific. "Hallelujah" wasn't what I expected, though. A wee bit mischievous, are ya? ;-) I'm curious... who's your duet partner on "It Won't Be Long"? Sounds a bit like either Chris Burke or Ben Caver, but I can't tell those two apart most the time. Oh, and a way-belated congrats on the Cherry Heart deal. Them got themselves a talented new girl.
It meant the world to me, you making time out of your busy day, to come by Carrabba's to wish me a Happy Birthday. The card was PERFECT. Thank you SO much.
And your songs, Hallelujah (No pun intendted), they were FREAKING AMAZING!!!!
Can't wait to have copies of them! Love ya! Jesus!
