I'm a professional MMA fighter and have been ranked in the top ten welterweights for the last several years. I have finished my last five opponents, with the last four ending in the first round. Wins over Hayato Sakurai, Yushin Okami, Carlos Condit, etc.
I was raised in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of northern California. I'm a life-long vegetarian and was home schooled up to junior high. Me and my two older brothers grew up at the end of a dirt road on the rim of the Jesus Maria Canyon. We were into mountain biking, wild caving, snowboarding, climbing mountains, exploring the high country and wrestling.
I began wrestling at age nine and have competed in over 650 folk, freestyle and submission wrestling matches.

I began training MMA in Sept. 1999 by joining Chuck Liddels SLO Kickboxing Academy. In 2001 I went to SF State on wrestling scholarship and started training with Cesar Gracie.
