About me:
i believe that yoga is therapy. my first book, hip tranquil chick will be out late 2006. i began tranquil space in my living room in 1999. i can't imagine life without lipgloss, my laptop, and my fave yoga togs. i was voted "most likely to have her own talk show" in college. i pick up earthworms on the sidewalk after a heavy rain. i believe that your life is your art. i blended my love of psychology, women's issues, and spirituality with a masters degree in womens studies. i design the chic and comfy tranquiliT luxe lifestyle wear using lush, eco-friendly bamboo fabric made in a sweatshop-free setting. i love throwing soirees to build community and charity awareness. i produced 2 yoga cds to assist yogis with a home practice. i have a leopard print yoga mat. i have driven from dc to alaska. i savor chamomile tea and veuve clicquot champagne. i love to read about powerful, inspiring women. i ran the army 10-miler. i believe in living a passion-filled lifestyle; this is not a dress rehearsal. i live in a raspberry and leopard print embellished cozy condo in d.c.'s artsy dupont circle with 2 black felines named after french impressionists and a black pug named louis. i love musing in my blog and podcast--hiptranquilchick.com.
