Don't Worry!

Therefore do not worry and be anxious.

(Matthew 6:31)

God is vehemently against worry. Jesus preached against it. Paul preached against it. The whole Bible preaches against worry because it was designed by Satan to produce stress, strain, and death.
Yet many of us still act as if it's an option, as if we're free to worry if we want to. But we're not! Worrying is a sin. It's one of those things the Word of God directly commands us not to do.
What are you supposed to do then with all the concerns you have about your problems? In 1 Peter 5:7, God says you should "cast them all upon Him." All. Not 75 percent of them. Not all of them but the ones about your kids. All of them!
Your confession every morning should be, "I do not have a care in this world because I've cast every one of them onto my Lord."
Let me illustrate how that works. Let's say you were standing about 20 feet away from me and I tossed my car keys to you. If someone else were to come to me and say, "Brother Copeland, I need the keys to your car. I need to use it." I would say, "I can't help you. I cast my keys over on him. I don't have them anymore."
That's what you need to do with your worries. You need to cast them over on the Lord and not take them back. If Satan brings a worried thought to your mind, saying, "What if this terrible thing happens?" then you can tell him to talk to God about it. It's in His hands, not yours!
Once you do that, changes will start to take place in your life. Problems you've been fretting about for years will start being solved. You'll no longer be tying God's hands with your worrying. His power can begin to operate because you've acted in faith and cast your cares on Him!
Remember, though, God will not take your cares away from you. You have to give them to Him. Then you have to replace those worries with the Word. You are the one who has to keep your thoughts under control. But you can do it. The Greater One dwells within you. He is able to put you over. Commit to it. You'll never have to worry again.

Are you like me about your job? If you listen to the reports or even speak with your friends, "who is 100% happy with where they work or whom they work with?" This article below will shed some light onto what we should strive for in the work field.

An Attitude of Excellence

According to most sources, you will spend more than half of your waking life on the job. Think about that for just a moment—more than half of your life. Since this is the case, you might as well learn to work with as much excellence as possible—not only excellence in skill, but also in your attitudes and interactions with others.
I believe that one of the first steps to having an excellent attitude in the workplace is to believe that you do what you do for a living by divine design. Yes indeed, you are in your present position for a reason. Whether you are working as an investment banker, a plant manager, a computer programmer, an architect or an administrative assistant, God has gifted, empowered and anointed you do what you are doing.
The fact that you are anointed for your occupation does not mean that you will be stuck in the same job for the rest of your working life; it simply means that you are on a God-ordained journey of success and that your present position will provide you with some abilities and experiences you will need in order to get to the next place God has for you.
The workplace to which you have been called is not only your assignment, it is also part of God's destiny for your life. Sure, it may be hard at times. You may—you will—have challenges and difficulties, but God has purposely placed you where you are and you are there for a reason. You have been honored with an assignment that will bring God glory, so embrace the privilege! Take on the challenges as one who has been specially chosen and equipped to solve the problems and overcome the obstacles you encounter.

Are Angels Just for Kids?

Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?
Most of us heard about our guardian angel when we were just children; and, in those days, it was a comforting thought. With monsters lurking behind the closet door and creepy things crawling beneath the bed, it was good to know that someone was there to protect us when the light was out.
But, as the years passed, we outgrew our childhood fears. The imaginary creatures that had once seemed so real disappeared from our minds--and sadly enough, for most of us, the angels did too.
But angels are not just kid stuff. They're powerful spirits sent forth to minister for us who are heirs of salvation.
The word salvation in Hebrews 1:14 is from the Greek word soteria meaning deliverance, preservation of material, and temporal deliverance. Think about that! God has created vast numbers of gloriously powerful spiritual beings for the express purpose of protecting us and delivering us from the evils of this world.
And remember, according to Psalm 103:20, the Word of God is what puts those angels in action. So when you're in trouble, don't cower and cry about how awful things are. Speak the Word! Give your angels something to respond to. Then be patient and let them have time to work. They'll get their job done.

Weary of Worry

As you fight the good fight of faith today, remember this: Your mind is where the battle will take place. Whatever you allow to captivate your mind will rule your life. Will it be the Word of God or the lies of Satan?
The decision is yours.
If you want the Word to reign, make up your mind now to resist the devil when he comes to plant doubts within you. Refuse to surrender to the circumstantial pressure he brings your way. Decide at the onset that you will not succumb to this trial. Dig your heels in and stand immovable upon the promises of God.
When thoughts come that are contrary to God's will, cast them down. And above all, don't worry. Worrying is meditating the thoughts of Satan.
When you recognize you are worrying, stop it immediately. Replace worried, fearful, and doubtful thoughts with the Word.
Be assured, Satan will continually try to tell you that your situation is hopeless. He will persistently peddle doubt, defeat, and discouragement. But if you won't allow him to sell you his goods, his commission will be zero. If you don't buy his lies, he can't cause them to come to pass in your life.
God has promised that He will always cause you to triumph in Christ. You are guaranteed victory over any adversity you face today. Make up your mind right now to be a winner and you'll spread the knowledge of victory in Christ everywhere you go.

Live Free From Fear

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
(Psalm 91:1-3)
Is it possible to live free from fear in this dangerous and unpredictable world? Yes, it most definitely is! Because protection is a solid promise of God.
But it's not a promise that's offered to just anyone; it is promised to those who abide in the Lord. To abide means to dwell, to remain and to continue. To abide in the shadow of the Almighty is to live in continual union with Him, keeping His Word and obeying His voice. Those who abide in the Lord can live without dread of what the devil will do.
Let me make this clear though-- God's promise of protection doesn't guarantee that the devil will leave you alone! It means that God will give you a way of escape every time the devil rears his ugly face at you.
If you are afraid of the dangers around you, spend more time in the Word and in prayer until your trust in God overcomes your fear. Draw closer to the Lord until you are abiding in the shadow of the Almighty and--no matter how dangerous this world becomes--He surely shall deliver you!

Abuse and the Miracle of Recovery

During my childhood, I was abused sexually, emotionally, verbally, and physically.
Many of you reading this article have also been abused, or you deal with someone in your life who comes from an abusive, dysfunctional background.
What is abuse? It means to misuse, to use improperly, to use up, or to injure by maltreatment. Let me give you a brief definition of the four types of abuse.
Sexual abuse: considered to be the most degrading and offensive. It consists of molestation, rape, incest, exhibitionism, voyeurism, obscene phone calls, etc.
Emotional abuse: withholding of love, attention, loving touches, or words of acceptance. Love is only given based on acceptable performance, etc.
Abandonment: would fall under the category of emotional abuse and can occur when one or both parents leave the child physically or mentally. Adults can also experience the devastating effects of abandonment if important people in their lives leave suddenly or violently.
Verbal abuse: People must hear loving words of acceptance to develop properly. Verbal abuse can be overt or covert. Overt: aggressive, angry words which tell you that you are flawed or unacceptable Covert: loving words withheld.
Physical abuse: beatings, unfair discipline, locked in closets or dark rooms, food withheld, etc.
The effects of abuse can be devastating and long lasting. Many people never recover from abuse.
Although I functioned as what appeared to be "normal" in society, I had multiple inward problems and complicated personality disorders. I will name a few of the things going on in me at that time that prevented me from righteousness, peace, and joy that Romans 14:17 declares is the kingdom. God the Father sent Jesus so we could have and enjoy "the kingdom."
I was bitter about my past and had a chip on my shoulder, which caused me to have the attitude that everyone owed me preferential treatment. I was full of self-pity, especially if things did not go my way. I was controlling, manipulative, fearful, insecure, and harsh. I was just plain hard to get along with and often downright obnoxious. I was judgmental, suspicious, and very negative.
I experienced a lot of guilt and condemnation. I had a shame-based nature; therefore, everything I attempted was poisoned. Since I did not like who I was, I spent many years trying to be like someone else—I am sure you are getting the picture that I was quite a mess.
Now, what I am getting ready to say is important. I WAS BORN AGAIN AND ACTIVELY INVOLVED IN CHURCH LIFE. We attended church regularly and did church work. Our lives revolved around the church, but I was not getting victory over my problems. In fact, the really sad part was that I did not even understand that I had a problem. I thought everyone else had a problem; and if they would change, I would be happy.
In 1976 1 received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. Acts 1:8 speaks of receiving the power to be witnesses. Notice it does not say to do witnessing, but to be witnesses. The Bible says we are to be living epistles read of all men, light in a dark world, and the salt of the earth. Doing is a different thing than being. I had my outside polished up, but my inner life was a wreck. Quite often the inner turmoil exploded, and then everybody could see I was not quite what I appeared to be.
The outpouring of the Holy Spirit in my life gave me a real love for God's Word and an ability to understand the Word like never before. Second Corinthians 3:18 (paraphrased) says that as we look into the Word of God, it is like looking into a mirror; and we are transformed into His image from glory to glory.
I have been changing ever since. I have changed, and changed, and changed; and I am still changing. Most of those problems are completely gone and the rest only flare up occasionally. I even look differently—I look younger, happier, and more peaceful.
Second Corinthians 5:17 (paraphrased) says if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things have passed away; behold, all things are made new. But that really does not mean everything from the past just vanishes. The Amplified Bible brings it out this way, "Behold, the fresh and new has come!" In other words, without Jesus there is no hope of newness of life; the past always affects the future without the power of God to overcome it. But even with Jesus, it is not automatic. When the fresh and new comes, there is opportunity; but we must give the Word of God an exalted place in our lives. We must face the truth as revealed to us in His Word, and then the truth will set us free if it is acted upon.
I want to encourage you! Keep pressing on. You will keep changing if you stay in the Word. Philippians 1:6 (paraphrased) says He that has begun a good work in you is well able to bring it to completion. Hebrews 12:2 (paraphrased) says look to Jesus who is the author and the finisher of our faith.
Now I am enjoying kingdom living: "Righteousness, peace, and joy." And no matter what your past has been or how many problems you have, God will do a miracle for you. He will change you into the image of Jesus Christ and give you a new life worth living.

God's Word

**Renews Your Mind
**Restores Your Peace
**Gives You Hope

In a life filled with noise, distraction and busyness, peace can be hard to find.
But the Bible is filled with the blessings and benefits of meditating on its principles. Spending time in the Word leads to a peace that cannot be taken away by the demands of this world.
Meditating on God's Word will:
Give you spiritual success. God's definition of success in life is to know Him better.
Help you keep your heart right before Him. The Word of God is a mirror that accurately shows us where our hearts really are.
Guide you at every turn in your life. "I have more insight than all my teachers, for I meditate on your statutes" (Psalm 119:99, NIV).
Fill your mind with the things of God. Focusing on God's love and goodness leaves no room for wrong thinking.
Too often, God's still, quiet voice is not heard by those who need it most.

Does God still heal today?

God's Word is quite clear on the subject of healing. The Bible says that God "…sent His word and healed them,…" (Psalms 107:20) and it declares that Jesus Christ is the "changeless" One, "the same yesterday, today, and forever" (see Hebrews 13:8).
Do you need a healing touch from God? We believe that when we press in and touch Jesus (with powerful, anointed actions of faith and prayer), He is faithful to release His miracle-working power and that anointing is available to you today. Even the most severe physical ailments are no match for the healing power of God!
Marilyn Hickey Ministries
Guardian Angels

Does each person have a guardian angel that watches over them? I'd like to think so, but if we do have a special angel protecting us, then why do we still have accidents and things like that?
Answer From Billy Graham:
Whenever I'm asked why bad things happen to us, I have to admit that I don't have a full answer to that question. Evil is real, and none of us are free from its devastation.
But the Bible does tell us that for the believer nothing happens outside God's control—and yes, if we know Christ, His angels continually watch over us. The Bible says that God "will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways" (Psalm 91:11). It also teaches that the angels—although they are largely unseen—watch over us and work for our good. The Bible says, "Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?" (Hebrews 1:14).
Rather than only one angel, therefore, God surrounds us with a host of angels to protect us and go before us. Even when hard times come, Satan can never snatch us away from their protection—and some day they will escort us safely to heaven. The reality of God's angels should give us great confidence in the Bible's promises.
While the angels are real, we are not to become preoccupied with them or to worship them. Only God is worthy of our worship, and only Christ saves us. Trust Him alone as your Savior, for "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12).
Billy Graham Evanglisim

I confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord. "By His stripes I Am Healed."

Defeat your doubts and receive your healing by allowing the healing power of God's Word to flow through you.

I believe with all my heart the words of Jesus in Matthew 22:37-40. Therefore in obedience to the written word, releasing my faith in Jesus and all He's done for me, I say with my mouth: "I love the Lord my God with all my heart, all my soul, all my mind and all of my might. And I love my neighbor as myself."

I confess every day, through out the day, "I Am Healed." I keep positive words coming out of my mouth proclaiming healing daily. Not only believing that Jesus will heal me, but that Jesus HAS healed me. Healing is for my taking. Jesus has already done His part, "by His stripes I am healed."

Once I have prayed, my healing then begins to work. My Ministering Angel(s) can go to work. I must not waiver. It is hard, but you can condition yourself daily to confess that you are healed, REGARDLESS of how you feel. Confess you are healed!! If you find yourself start to worry or find yourself saying, "nah this is not working, forget it," stop your thinking right there and put in your mouth, "despite what you are feeling (pain, doubt, worry) that YOU ARE HEALED!

Anywhere at any time, the Spirit of God is always ready to heal. You could be in the last stages of cancer of just suffer from headaches. God wants to heal you and healing is yours the moment you make a demand on it! Again, faith plays a very important part here to receive your healing! And for God's healing to manifest, He needs faith and that is your faith!

God's word is God's medicine. I rather take that then a giant horse pill. You cannot overdose on God's word. The more you take, the better you feel.

Stand on the promises of God by confessing healing scriptures daily.

For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me and I say to this man, Go and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.

When Jesus heard it, he marveled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.

And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour."

Greetings in the name of our Precious Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I am Grace. Believer in the Lord Jesus Christ since 1977.

I do not appreciate gossipers/backbitters. If you have nothing nice to say, then please do not say it here or anywhere else.

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD,
plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans
to give you hope and a future." Jer. 29:11

Who I'd like to meet:

THIS IS WHAT I BELIEVE

I confess that there is only one triune God, eternally co-existent in three distinct persons. Each person in the Trinity is equal with the other; yet, each manifests a particular ministry and function: God the Father who is our Creator; God the Son who is our Redeemer (Savior); and God the Holy Spirit who is our Comforter and Helper.

I confess that Jesus The Christ is the incarnate sinless Son of God. In the Incarnation, Jesus The Christ is both totally human and totally divine in His nature. He was murdered, died upon a cross and was raised from the dead on the third day. Those who receive this Risen Christ as Savior and Lord, inherit eternal life and experience the present reality of abundant life by faith and obedience to Him.

I confess that this new creation is by the power of the Holy Spirit and that the same Holy Spirit thus enables the Christian to live an overcoming and vistorious life in this Risen Lord. I believe that the ongoing ministry of the Holy Spirit is to manifest the gifts of God (charismata) through the people of God, and that the gifts of the Holy Spirit (charismata) are intended to empower the believer for victorious living and dynamic witnessing in the present age

Do you know where you are going? Would you like to know for sure what your FINAL DESTINATION will be?

If you desire prayer, in anything, no matter how big or how small, how insignificant you may think it is, or if you think that God does not care about your "so called prayers," you are wrong. He does. And I will be more than happy to pray for you. Please do not feel embarrassed, you need not to. God will NOT fall off His throne with whatever you have to say. Pluuuuseee, God has heard everything, you are not going to shock Him. He desires to hear what you have to say to Him and just be transparent. If you are angry, so be it, tell God what you are angry about. If you are happy, share with Him what you are happy about. If you would like me to pray with you please click HERE.
