Flying’s music was described by English-as-a-second-language students in Taiwan as "dreamy, melodious, melancholy, frivolous, elaborate, and amorous." Flying has played with Deerhoof, Lavender Diamond, Pit er Pat, Dirty Projectors, among others, and recorded their new album at the Key Club with Bill Skibbe and Jessica Ruffins.
