We're currently taking a wee break from recording while Wes and Adam go off and do their thang in Canada for a few weeks. We've done almost everything now - the drums and bass were recorded in one afternoon, the guitars are taking a while to complete though. It sounds very different to everything we've done before, but that's good. There's some nice surprises in store :)
We have a couple of shows lined up for September and October that we'll have some info about soon. Hopefully we'll have a record available for the October shows.
Thanks for being patient while we get this record finished. Woot!

Our records!
SECRET WHALE - 2005
Four tracks of nice, melodic "post-rocky" indie recorded up in the hills of Littleborough.
Sadly we have no copies left. Maybe we'll have some in the future? But maybe not.
WIDOWS - 2006
Five tracks of darker, heavier rock music without vocals. Written over the course of a year that included fires, deaths, evictions, thefts and upsetting gangsters, as well as making new friends, traveling the country in the back of a smelly van with no windows and various other events that have slipped from the memory banks. Now available from many online resources, such as:
Roadkill Records and Piccadilly Records along with these online retailers:
The first of our new nights FUCKED UP THURSDAY is occuring at Dry Bar this week on the 10th July. If you interested in going to nights we're all the bands are important to the vibe of the evening, there's no shitty fillers, prices are reasonable and the music is imaginitive then you are in luck.

ADVANCES IN MATHEMATICS
Flowing tuneful instrumental spacepop and a fine mixture of old school shoegaze and post-rock.
ARFICEDEN
Sexy 3 piece , awesome drumming, big dirty dub bass lines and plenty of noise coming from 1 guitar.
Giving jazz a good name!!
IYE
Stoke 7 piece guitar orchestra making big swoooshing soundscapes and still managing to find room for some 3 piece harmonies. Holly shit balls!
A MIDDLE SEX
I'll be buggered if I can describe it- basically a lot of noises- electronics and other stuff going through distorted amplification. Improvisation and some rather sweet rhythmic stuff occuring.
