The DAVE STEIN BUBHUB nightly weaves a sultry tapestry of colors and tones which implore showgoers to dance in a smoky melange of funk, rock, soul and jam. DSB is a new band of seasoned players, playing non-stop sets of groove-driven funk creating a passionate and playful party atmosphere encouraging their audience to move and dance while imparting their joyful yet socially and environmentally conscious message.

Soulful vocals, undulating and oscillating funk guitar mixed with spirited organ and keyboards blend with deeply grooving bass and drum lines. Tightly structured songs lead to improvisational jams often resulting in the creation of new music, a phenomenon which regularly intrigues and excites, as the band melds into a single unit awash in a sea of grooves.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The DSB has performed very actively each year since 2004, touring Northern and Central California and has enjoyed sharing the stage with legends like the JGB featuring Melvin Seals, New Monsoon, Leon Russell, Martin Fierro. In 2006 The DSB won "Best Band" from San Mateo County Times and "Band of the Month" on Grateful Web.com. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
DSB's forthcoming CD entitled "Velvet Hammer" features inspired appearances by the legendary Martin Fierro. It is a recorded testament to the material, energy and performance virtuosity demonstrated nightly by DSB and is sure to be one of the highlights of the 2007 listening year. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

-"They encourage fans to take the dance floor just by getting on stage and showing how to get into the mood by playing endless improvisational groove. It is a pleasure to my ears which makes my body just want to move. Dave Stein Bubhub is one of the few artists which allows my mind to relax and gives me a mini vacation."
